PlantBooster Vermiculite is an amazing growing medium, an ultra-lightweight aggregate that has been heated to a high temperature to produce a lightweight material with a high surface area and a particle size of 1-6 mm. It is inorganic, inert, non-toxic, neutral in pH and biologically stable. When Vermiculite is used with fertilizers, it makes them more efficient, not only helping to retain water and moisture but also to absorb and store nutrients, releasing them to the plant roots when required. It also helps to prevent nutrients from being washed out. Vermiculite is widely used in commercial hydroponics, seed starting and plant rooting and as a soil conditioner. It enhances the water-holding and anti-compaction properties of soil and is an ideal compost additive with its excellent water retention properties. Vermiculite increases aeration and drainage in soil, improving germination and boosting root growth, essential for healthy young plants and seedlings. Instructions help!
I heard that this is very good. I was expecting to recieve it as the photo shows as advertised but just received it in a plain boring plastic bag no writing or instructions on how to use or amount to use. Yes I could use my common sense and just sprinkle a handful, but reading instructions does help. Off to look it up on the web. Overall a good price, but I just wish some sellers would send the items there advertising as first impressions.

I needed the vermiculite for planting seeds it has gone up alot in price since I purchased the last lot but the bag was the right size for what I needed to do
