Great
Very durable and comfortable. Had these for 5 years of moderate wear and hiking and there are no signs of these wearing out yet. I’ll buy another pair in case they stop maki g them.

Quality shoe but not cushion
A quality shoe but not cushion for a long walk on trial.

Painful.
I gave these a year of intermittent wearing but I can't do it any more. The Firebrand is the only model that has giving me trouble. The way that the top of the shoe is constructed pushes down on tendons on my instep. It's hard to walk more than half a mile without being in pain because of it.I gave he's an honest try but I'm switching back to the other model.

Please read: I request a recall- unsafe shoe
These shoes are going to get someone killed. It's only a matter of time. An otherwise fantastic shoe is lacking any traction when the tread is wet, muddy or sandy. With trekking poles you can expect moderate to severe falls on even low pitches of dry rock. If the rock is dry but you were in a creek bed, you will take a tumble. Added 3 hours to an 8 hour hike due to slow, careful footing and 6 major falls. Read reviews on other sites with similar comments. This is a product liability issue. These shoes should be pulled from the market before someone gets killed. Please don't let it be you.

Super comfortable, super durable
I've been wearing these shoes both on hardcore backpacking trips (over half of the trips were off trail, sierra nevada) as well as years of walking on sidewalks in cities, etc. I love them. Best shoes I've ever worn. I read the 3 reviews and don't agree with the post about their losing traction when wet, muddy, etc. That's every shoe I've worn, not just these.

Oboz rocks!
These shoes really hold up and they're the only "dry" light hiking shoe I've ever worn that actually delivered on the claim. They're super comfortable for my slightly wide feet too, I recommend these shoes without reservation.

Incredibly Durable, Great hiking and daily outdoor wear
I am about to purchase my third set of these hiking shoes. These are great for hiking in spots where you would not need ankle support and the low profile works better than boots when hiking in hot temperatures. Both previous pairs have lasted 3+ years of daily use and weekly 5 mile hiking trips. I take these through mud puddles and water regularly and they hold up to the abuse and still keep my feet dry. I’ve backpacked on vacations to Nat. Parks for miles and just can’t say enough how long these have lasted.I find them comfortable and wear them daily as well as for hiking, but the insole could be improved. I also agree with other reviews stating they may not be the best tread to grip on slick/smooth rock. But if you are on soil, sand, gravel, or rock that isn’t crazy smooth these will keep you dry and confident that they won’t give out on the trail.
