Hard, stays in place, perfect for the intended use
So far so good. So background. I've bought as having bilateral ear surgery and cannot sleep on either side of face for 6 weeks. As a side sleeper this is not an easy job. This keeps my head in the correct position. No major readjusting needed. Can fit loosely or as tight as needed. Have used completly upright, mid and laid down flat. Bare in mind is is quite hard. It will soften over continuous use like in my case but if you don't like a hard pillow then it might not be the one. However I normally use a hard flat memory foam so for me this is great. I woke many many times in the night with pain but the item upheld and was in the same position even with some wiggling. So far so good and happy overall with the product. It seems expensive but I waited for the sale and got it for approx £35

The best travel pillow I've used but still not quite good enough for long haul economy
This was better than any of the other travel pillows I've used. It gives more support and more ways of using it - support front, side or back. And it can pack down into a relatively small bag (that it comes with). But, I think it will take more than even this travel pillow to get me through an 8-hour transatlantic flight in an economy seat in comfort.

Look no further … the best!
Look no further. After some research and trying out other similar products…this came out easily the best. I bought 2 ..one for my husband other for me for our flight to Australia and back. We were delighted and they made such a difference to us. It clicks securely under your chin and can be adjusted. It was firm but comfortable and totally supported my head and neck. . Not cheap..but you get what you pay for and it was certainly worth it. Two long exhausting flights really put it to the test. Some say they found it hot to wear…we didn’t. It is bulky but squeezes into a small bag which clicks easily onto hand luggage. Really don’t bother with anything else ..specially the cheap horseshoe pillows sold everywhere. Those for me are useless. Go for SNUGL! Happy travels!

Game changer for sleeping in economy
I debated getting this as it’s much dearer than most others but it is so worth it. It enabled me sleep in economy for the first time ever, it’s so versatile, the foam is really comfy and it rolls up small considering its size. If you struggle to sleep or relax on a plane then it’s def worth the money.

Really comfortable thanks to the great design
I suffer with a very tense neck & shoulders at the best of times, so was really dreading an upcoming 15-hour flight and ordered numerous travel pillows to try at home in advance. From the outset it was clear that the SNUGL pillow was much more versatile than the others, thanks to the cut-out groove for the neck/shoulder.I personally find that memory foam pillows are often too firm, making them uncomfortable after a while, but found the SNUGL offered a good balance of comfort and support. I was also a little concerned that it might be too big for my frame (I'm 5ft 4ins with quite a short neck), but it was fine - although a marginally smaller one would probably have been even better. The ultimate test was going to be the actual flight though, and I'm pleased to say that the SNUGL exceeded my expectations! I slept for 6-hours straight on both the outward and return journey, using the pillow in the 'traditional' position on the way out and with the groove over my shoulder on the way home. Both options were very comfortable, with no stiff neck afterwards. It took a little longer to find a comfortable position when my seat was fully upright, but the versatility of the design really helped with that.Carrying it around was easy enough - it fit into my hand luggage no problem, but it can also clip to the strap if necessary. When not being used on the plane it also stored easily under the seat in front.I honestly wouldn't travel without it now!

Wasn't comfortable for me, design seemed flawed: returned for refund
I bought this pillow after sitting next to someone who wore it (for the first time it turned out) during a coach journey and said they were happy with it so far. There's a lot that was great about this pillow: the memory foam was comfortable yet supportive, it has clever design that can be rolled-up and buckled shut to a compact size, and it's brilliant that the carry case comes with a clip so you can attach it to your bag.Unfortunately though, one aspect of the design meant that neither me nor my partner found it comfortable to wear. As you can see from the picture, the 'arms' that close together flare-out and widen at either end. I think this is intended to offer more support, but seemed incredibly flawed to me. It meant that as you tighten the buckle, which you need to do for support, it concentrates pressure on the front of your neck and feels like it's choking you. It didn't feel like this needs to be the case: if the arms tapered instead of flaring out I think it'd distribute pressure more evenly.I tried the pillow in a number of orientations: side sleeper, standard, etc. It was possible to get a little comfier if I tucked my chin into the pillow and adjusted the tightness etc... and I have no doubt that it'd be comfier than no pillow at all... but I could tell that I'd be fiddling with it for the whole journey. Given it's not the cheapest I decided to return it and try alternatives. My partner tried it on and instantly asked to take it off saying she felt claustrophobic. We tried the regular size, I'm a 5'9 male, she's 5'8 female so pretty average.Everyone is different, you might have better luck especially if you're tall, but the fact that the pillow exerts pressure at the point where you tighten it seemed like a design flaw to me
