I'd give them 6 stars if I could

I have had a bunch of wireless ear buds over the years, almost all on the expensive side of the spectrum ($250+). Bragi, Sennheiser, Bang & Olefsun among a few others. The 75t's put them all to shame in almost every category. They're the best true wireless ear buds I've found and it's not even close.I've only had them for a few days and haven't had to test the battery life just yet, so I won't comment on that. But in every other way these are damn near perfect.Pros:- First and foremost: INCREDIBLE connectivity. I haven't experienced a single dropout with these yet, either from the device or between left and right. I live and commute in NYC and there are places where other more expensive bluetooth sets were simply unusable because of all the interference. For the most part you would expect a dropout at least every few minutes just walking down the street. None of that with these. I've seen plenty of other sets advertise this kind of connectivity but these are the first that truly deliver on it.- They are the smallest and lightest pair I've ever seen with an incredibly thin profile. They're almost invisible from the front when you have them in.- Even though they're small they have a really great fit. I can't imagine them falling out and yet they're still incredibly comfortable. You notice the first time you take them out that you have to really PULL them which gives you confidence they're not going to fall out on their own.- There's no active noise cancellation, but you don't miss it. The tight fit shuts out noise almost perfectly. And the lack of noise cancelling software running means increased battery life.- Sound quality is exceptional and the app-based EQ is great to fine tune for music or speech. I don't notice any difference in the sound quality between these and pairs that cost twice as much although I suppose some audiophiles might quibble. But if that's your thing you probably aren't using bluetooth headsets. I don't quite understand the other reviews complaining that the bass is overpowering. Even in default mode I think it's great and you can easily bring it down with the EQ.- Microphone is also as good as I've ever found. On calls people have no idea I'm on bluetooth and the Hearthrough transparency feature is much clearer than similar features I've used in more expensive sets. You can even adjust the level with the app which is handy since you might want more or less transparency say in the office versus on the street.- The controls on the buds are mechanical instead of touch-sensitive like on most more expensive models, and while that does pose something to potentially malfunction down the line, I actually prefer it as the touch sensitive controls on other sets I've had were always very finicky, often making me have to tap them multiple times to get any response which also made multi-tap functions next to impossible. With these you just click and everything works as advertised.- The battery level LED indicators are a great feature to quickly see if you're running low on either the buds or the charger with a quick flip of the lid.- The app is fantastic, showing battery life for the buds and charging case, enabling audio customization, microphone sensitivity, and even a GPS locator (I haven't tested if this will find one of the buds or the case separately but it's still a nice feature in case you ever misplace the set)Cons:- Honestly, I can't think of any. If they could develop a more reliable touch-sensitive control and replace the mechanical ones I guess that would be nice, although probably more expensive.Bottom Line:If you're in the market, these are the buds to buy. They easily surpass $300+ sets across the board. I'll be excited to see how Jarba improves on them even further in future models.

Jabra listens to its customers

Picked these up at the beginning of the year while they were still fairly new. I use them for at home computer use (movies, music, gaming) and for active use (skateboarding/long boarding).Sound quality is very nice and is appropriate for the price range. I have a full 1400 watt sound system in my car(2 12's and 400w going to surround), so the bass from the buds feels just right for me. The highs and mids arn't lacking either. For computer use...these are not supposed to support being used on a computer, and technically they don't fully work on them. I have been able to get them to work fairly well on windows 10 with a bluetooth 5.0 capable motherboard. These will even work with Dolby Access and windows spacial sound. It's possible to get the buds to work as a headset(the process is not easy), but because of the limitations of the device hardware the audio quality tanks pretty hard when enabling the mic as it is unable to send high rez audio and high rez mic signal through bluetooth.Audio quality on a computer(with the mic off) is great and better than my over-ear headset I mainly use for gaming. The sound staging is only about a half step down from some entry level audiophile headphones, so it's pretty good. Now for use on a smartphone...(I'm using a Galexy s7 active with bluetooth 4.2)Jabra has an app which lets you customize a basic EQ, change the headset button mapping, and a couple other neat features for hearthrough mode. When I first got these, there was a couple things I felt were not quite as good as they could be. Audio quality is amazing and surprised me for what these cost, but because of my life choices in music listening (loud concerts, loud stereo, loud loud loud) my hearing is no longer perfect and my right ear hearing isn't as good as my left. Because of this it felt like one of the ear buds was ever so slightly louder than the other. This caused music to not feel "centered" in my head. Not an issue with the device itself by any means, but still a slight nuisance. Also when enabling the hear-through mode, there was a white fuzz noise constantly. Even if you were in a sound proof room, there was still a white fuzz noise.I had sent Jabra an email stating these 2 small gripes, along with a happy customer review. 2 month later, they release a firmware update for the headset and a software update for their app that fixes both of these issues. There is now a feature in the app that fine tunes the left and right buds to give an "equal" sound to each ear. Also with the added bonus of no more white fuzz noise with hear-through enabled. So Jabra already had 4+ star product with very competitive pricing. The fact that they listen to their customers and release regular firmware updates to further improve upon their products to give a better listening experience, leaves me no choice but to give a 5 star rating. I'm very happy I chose these over comparable products.Cons.-can't eat while wearing these. chewing motions cause the buds to come loose from my ears and fall out after about a minute (but I can spend hours on a skateboard sweating like a stuck pig and not have to worry about repositioning the buds or having them come loose)-while being active, audio occasionally will drop out momentarily. Not sure if this is because of my phone only being bluetooth 4.2, the location of where I have my phone while being active (I carry it in a thin backpack or front pocket), or if the device just has issues with keeping a solid connection while in movement. But without a bluetooth 5.0 capable phone to test this, I can't really say the ear buds are at fault. All in all, well worth the money.
