Good wire.
This is a good wire.The welds look clean, it is easy to use without gas, it has moderate spatter, it functions great and fits is small flux core welders.This makes good looking welds and is a great value for the money.

Works great with my small welder. Quality of electrode is great. Helps me with welding g in tight spaces where stick welding is too hot. Good value and edits standard spool in welder.

Best fluxcore wire for small welders
I'd like to start off by saying that in no welder, just a guy with a welder. This wire Is infinitely Better than the oxidized matte wire that you'll find at harbor freight. This wire works wonders, it's very forgiving and holds a consistent arc. It doesn't glob up like HF wire does and It deposits very smoothly and nicely. Not being a welder I don't know how It compares to larger spools made for industrial machines but from the multiple small spools ive tried this one has been the best. Don't cheap out on wire.P.S. to the reviews complaining about the wire unspooling, that's user error, you need to hold the wire to keep it from unspooling as you out it in the drive rollers. Nice and smooth
I bought this because it was rated very high by one guy who compared five brands on YouTube.The price is very competitive with the others. It's not a miraculous, so I'm not throwing out my other wire, but I'm going to keep using it because I like the way it welds. I just wish I could find one that produced less smoke.

Notably smoother than the competition
I'm a trash welder, lemme be the first to tell you. I don't get much practice, and most of the work I do is on exhaust pipe which is notoriously hard to wire weld. Since I never know if I will be working indoors or out, gasless flux is my weapon of choice despite that it is more suited for heavy gauge structural welding, not having to worry about wind ruining my weld makes it worth the headache.With all that said, I try to improve where I can, and while watching welding content on the tube I noticed that Forney wire was consistently complimented by every welder I saw use it for it's lack of spatter and smooth application. With the spool in my machine running out I decided to give it a go, and can say that even at my skill level the difference is noticeable. The arc sounds smoother, the weld is physically smoother, there is way less spatter on the material and what spatter there is is almost never stuck more than a dusting-off with your glove can handle. That smoothness makes it easy to burn through thin materials without much warning, but if I get the speed right, I end up with less pinholes to go back and fill after than with my old wire. I won't make any assertions as to whether my welds are "better" (i.e. stronger) since for repair-grade exhaust work strength is almost meaningless compared to airtightness. I will say an untrained welder with a couple dozen hours of experience using the wrong type of welder for the wrong type of work, I find it easier to make an airtight union, and my results are typically more appealing to look at using this wire compared to others I have tried. I'm sure someone with some skill, using their flux welder for it's intended purpose could really turn out some nice joints.

Better than average flux MIG wire
Good product, even better since I got it at the Amazon Warehouse deals. Bought a back up MIG welder and the starter spool flux wire it came with was awful.The welder I bought also had a register in 7 days promotion, where they send a spool of wire for registering. That spool once it arrives will go directly in the storage locker, and will never see the light of day.Only negative is that it took 15 minutes to re-spool the wire as it was open box, but luckily I'm a fisherman used to using steel line to go deep, and untangling tangled wire is my specialty.

Cleanest gasless wire ever!
This is the cleanest and most consistent gasless flux core wire I've ever welded with. I have an inexpensive HF 90amp flux core welder and when you are not using shielding gas, this type of welding produces splatter and depending on the brand and type, alot of splatter. I had Lincoln NR211MP wire previously loaded in it until I completely ran out. The Lincoln is ok but it does splatter. I threw in a spool of Vulcan .030 that I had lying around but never used and it was the worst wire. It was inconsistent feeding (had to turn it all the way down from a 5 to a 1.5 to prevent it from throwing off the stick out) and no bead control even after multiple adjustments. It was a mess and created alot of splatter and smoke. I order the Forney (which I got the next day) and put the welder back to the previous settings that I had for the Lincoln wire and right from the get go it ran smoothly with minimal splatter. What BBs that were produced came right off with a wire brush and the weld was super clean. I was pleasantly surprised. The Forney wire was actually cheaper than the HF Vulcan even on sale and its a 2lb spool vs 1lb of the Lincoln at a lower price. There are several YT videos comparing the Forney to other wires and the Forney produces the best results. I'm very happy with it and now that I know there's a wire that can produce these excellent results for non-shielded flux core, I'm going to do an inexpensive DC polarity mod to get an even better result.
