The hub works great for what I need and deserves the 5 stars.I recently bought a laptop to replace my old desktop, and I wanted an easy way to connect to my multiple displays and USB storage to the new laptop. So, this hub works as my docking station, and is also able to use the laptop's charger to power both the hub and laptop.However, the display ports do not support adapters such as dvi to dp. You should use dp to do and hdmi to hdmi cables. It is in the manual, if you can read it. Not a huge deal, if you know in advance.But, the instructions are printed on a tiny piece of paper with tiny print. You will need a good magnifier to read it, if you need to read it.So, I give the hub functionality and quality 5 stars, but the manual only 3.

I have a 5k2k display and could not get Macbook to connect to it through USB, without going to lower resolutions that I do not like. I tried other usb hubs with HDMI 2.1 and known good HDMI 2.1 cables that work at high resolution from my PC, etc. I had to go through displayport and this works for my Macbook m4

Great addition to my new MacBook Air. This adds a lot of extra ports to my Mac. I wasn't sure that I would need it but I'm very happy that I got it. This is very useful and works great. No problems encountered.

All of the ports work well enough - I use the HDMI, DP, three USB ports, and sometimes the SD slots. I have issues where my mouse does not connect to its USB adapter on the hub until I unlug and replug the USB adapter back in. My keyboard does not have this issue so I assume it is the mouse itself.What does bother me is the screen flashing when having my either/both my external monitors connected to the hub and my laptop. The screens go black two or three times on waking/startup before finally settling to having extended displays. This does not happen when connecting the monitors directly to my laptop with the same cables and once the screens settle I have not issues. I also do not have the hub plugged into a USB c port that supports passthrough charging so all of the power is drawn from the laptop itself. Am I doing something wrong, is the hub not getting enough power, is the hub not sending out enough information to the monitors at first and that is what is causing the screens to go black? I am not sure. I will continue testing to find a seamless startup experience but until then I have to retract a star from my rating.

Works great with my Lenovo Yoga Laptop. Connected several USB devices, monitor and charging. Happy, Happy :-)

Made my life easier, highly recommended to anyone that interested in more functionality and multitasking.

just as advertised... exactly what you're looking for

This was a great dock up until it wasn't. A month in and the ports slowly stopped working. Half of the usb A ports are now dead, and the DP port is also going in and out sporadically. Super frustrating since I am using this in my home office and the issues are interrupting my work. DO NOT BUY.
