Works great and dust free for me. You will need the adapter for a 2.5" shop vac hose, it does not come with it.Issues in other reviews:Some complained about the plastic shroud. Uh, find one that isn't plastic anymore, good luck. It's decently stout, but don't go throwing this into the back of your truck and expect it to survive. It's not a hammer, don't hit stuff with it either.Some say it makes lot of dust, well, it does if you use it in the wrong direction of travel... Use it properly and it is almost dust free. User error there. That's not a design flaw, it's physics. All dust shrouds have this same issue when used incorrectly.

As usual from Dewalt, good quality and value. With its trolley wheels, this tool is best for long, straight cuts, 1 1/8" max depth. To be able to plunge-cut is handy and adds to its versatility. Dust extraction using a shop vac works well. Great tool. It comes with 'universal adapter' for shop vac hoses, so there's no need to buy one separately.

Great small saw for opening up or cleaning joints in your slab. We use it daily sawing door thresholds and garage door aprons! Plenty of power to plunge right into the slab. Blade included cuts great. Fits tightly to the slab and glides easily down a chanlked line. With the right vac set up, its dustless! Thumbs up.

Couldn’t find a vacuum that fit so we taped a hose to our shop vac which worked okay still lots of dust. The machine worked great to score our garage, porch and finally inside the house. Wish it had a long handle so you could walk behind but the way it handled our job (done by amateurs) was easy and we’re very pleased with it. Finally happy with the way our concrete floors look!

We used this for cutting Durock inside a building during construction. It keeps the user from breathing in silica dust. Other manufacturers offer the same product for nearly double the price for the same quality. According to our safety director’s interpretation, this tool complies with OSHA’s Silica Standards for cutting concrete when connected to a power vac (which is not included.)

This thing is a plastic monster. Weighs twice as much as the Bosch. It’s too bulky. It’s all plastic. It sounds like it’s going to fall apart when you turn it on. I bought a factory reconditioned BOSCH instead and it was cheaper. I might be a rookie at Tuckpointing but this just seemed like junk.

Has worked great , sturdy , the alignment cut help a lotI wish the view to the blade was bigger but that is ok with time I will figure it out
