Roxicosly Loud Alarm Clock with Bed Shaker, Vibrating Alarm Clock for Heavy Sleepers/Hard of Hearing/Deaf/Teens, Dual Alarms with 7.5’’ Large LED Display, USB Charger, Dimmer, Snooze & Battery Backup

My 10-year old vibrating alarm clock stopped working. I shopped around and bought this one. I seldom write reviews. But I am so satisfied that I'd like to share my experience with everybody.I hope that the manufacturer reads reviews, as I'll mention one thing that I hope they can take into consideration when they design their next model in the future.Pros:1. This alarm clock uses two AAA batteries as back-up during power outage. AAA batteries are cheaper and less bulky tnan 9V battries that my old alarm clock used to use.2. The display is bigger and brighter than my old alarm clock's display.3. I really like the DST function. It works like this: You first set the clock time to your local Standard Time. Then in March when DST begins, you push the DST button. It adds one hour ("springs forward") to the clock time. In November when DST ends, you push the DST button again. It subtracts one hour ("falls back"). There is a small indicator on the screen to tell you if it is in DST mode.I wish that the DST function can be automated. But I imagine that it'll make the cost higher. At this price point, I am happy enough with this simple button.4. It has two alarm buttons ("Alarm 1" and "Alarm 2") so that you can set two different alarm times. I only need one to wake me up in the morning. But some people may find the second alarm time useful.5. The vibrator works as advertised. It shakes me out of my bed. I don't use the ringer. So, I can't comment on that.Cons:1. There are two buttons, "Alarm Pause" and "Alarm Off". When the alarm goes off in the morning, you press "Alarm Pause" to stop the alarm for the day. It will go off again tomorrow morning. If you press "Alarm Off", it turns off the alarm completely. That is, the alarm won't go off until you turn it back on by pressing some other button. So far, so good.Here is the problem: These two buttons are right next to each other. So, in the morning, the alarm goes off, you get out of the bed, still kinda sleepy, you want to press the "Alarm Pause" button to stop the alarm. But if your finger slips and presses the "Alarm Off" button by mistake, then you'll wake up the next morning 2 hours late, wondering why the alarm didn't go off.My suggestion to the manufacturer: When you design your next model, consider relocating the "Alarm Off" button to an entirely different place. I'd suggest move it to the right side, next to the "Ring/Vib" button.I still give this product 5 stars, because I consider this shortcoming quite minor. I'll simply make the habit of checking the "Alarm On" indicator on the display every night before I go to sleep.

This clock was great. It didn't take a lot of time to figure out how to work it; it took hardly any time at all to set up. It was just as loud as the other clocks I've tried, but the vibrating rumble device is what sets it apart for me -- it made a HUGE difference when it came to waking me up! The other alarm clocks I tried, I just slept through the alarms. The rumble is just the extra bit of noise and rattling I need to wake up. I put the rumbler on my shelf where it would really rattle and make a ton of extra noise.HOWEVER, it broke after a year and three months. It WAS a great alarm clock, I loved it. First, the rumble device stopped working. Which was disappointing, but the clock itself was still good. BUT, a couple of weeks later, half the display went dark. Another week later, the entire display went dark. It still makes noise every morning but I can no longer set the time. I never dropped it, jolted it, smashed it, it just sat on my bookshelf. Kind of a bummer because this clock was great, but alas, not everything is made to last.P.S. -- I never used it to read the time, just as a morning alarm, so I can't speak to whether it's good as a clock. I will say, though, the numbers were VERY bright at night, enough to dimly illuminate my room -- if you prefer a dimmer clock, you might not like this. I personally didn't mind it.

Above and beyond expectations. Not annoying enough to get frustrated. The vibration is enough to wake me up and easy to turn off or reset for another day. I have been on time and ready to go since

This clock alarm wakes me up which is hard to do! Highly recommend it as it’s as close to the flintstone bird with as hammer to the head alarm as I want!

Bought this for daughter-in-law who can't ever get up on time for work, so with this rattling her brain maybe it will help..lol!! And it did exactly that!! Although she didn't find it humorous it was a great Christmas gift!! The alarm works great, u can see it well, easy to use, & Def recommend for those heavy sleepers!!

Easy to use, certainly does the job of waking up a heavy sleeper who often wears earplugs.Only downside is it doesn't last very long. I never did more than pick it up to adjust the times and put it back down regularly, but apparently this was enough that the cords that plug into the back began to fall apart and become useless. I had to replace the vibrating device about 8 months after initial purchase, and the power cord eventually fell part after about 14 months of use. I don't want to be buying a new clock every year or risking the possibility of over sleeping because my alarm suddenly stops working, so I looked at other brands when I needed a replacement.

This clock right here is LOUD and that's exactly what I need the only thing I can think of that would be better would be a hydraulic lift that throws me out of bed and makes me solve a Rubik's cube before silencing. The only complaint I have is the vibration from the tool is very minimal compared to other devices I've had in the past also the cable is very short for the vibration so unless you have your clock right next to your pillows (I installed a little shelf) you will have a bad time. But I love the sleek design of the clock and it was about as easy as setting up any other clock. one major suggestion other than the cable lengh would be a small base to inhibit the clock from falling over.
