extremely powerful. Ran this sucker all day long cutting off old rusty parts from the underside of my truck. She didn't even feel like she was overheating at all. Impressive considering the price point. The only complaint I can think of is the holder for the chuck broke off the first time i took the chuck in and out of the handle. No big deal, nothing a small piece of duct tape won't fix, but it is definitely a design the manufacturer needs to rethink a bit. You can easily take off the safety guard if need be, although I advise caution: this little puppy is strong enough that if it gets caught it will jerk itself right out of your hands if you aren't ready. I think this thing is probably going to be the last one I ever have to buy, assuming it doesn't get stolen by the neighborhood crackheads, and assuming I don't forget to put it away and back the truck over it one of these days. If you're looking for a good corded grinder thats going to do the job for you and last a while, i think this one is the answer. Going to go see if this manufacturer makes any other tools right now.

Got this in yesterday, so I haven't had the opportunity to plug this thing in and grind some stuff. Therefore, the star rating may change.In the meantime, I'll give it 5 stars. It was packaged well, and everything sas in the box. It seems to be very well built, no plastic visible, except for the buttons and lever. The moveable handle is also a plastic, but of the durable type. Heavier than I expected. No obvious manufacturing flaws. For the price, I was expecting an obvious piece of junk

I had a cheap Harbor Freight unit. I burnt it out when trying to grind concrete. I'm an occasional user, so this one was a step up. Much stronger, it stayed cooler and the safety shield is adjustable and provided good protection from all the dust that was kicked up. Feels sturdy to the hand and I like the paddle switch. The only drawback might be that the torque twist is not insignificant when you first turn it on, but you get used to it.

Ordered with one-day shipping for an immediate need. Grinder showed up and didn't work at all. Tried seller/manufacturer support and they entered everything in warranty, said to discard the old one and that replacement would arrive in a couple days.... 10 days later and still no sign of a grinder. Well, no sign of an "operable" one.UPDATE: Called them back and they had forgot to elevate the issue. Ended up returning through Amazon. Thankfully hadn't already discarded broken one.
