Works As Stated
These heat resistant silicone mats work as stated and keep my countertop safe from the heat of my flatiron. It's perfect for trips too because, not only can the flat iron be put in it right after unplugging, it also protects it during travel. It's large enough to hold curling irons with at least a 1" barrel, if not bigger. (It was able to hold my curling iron with a 1" barrel, but that's the largest I have. Not sure if bigger irons would fit in it, although the pocket is pretty big.)However, if you're hoping to get the set with the hot pink mat and are stuck on that shade of pink, you might be slightly disappointed. It's not a true hot pink, but more of it coral pink. Not a big deal to me; I was just glad to find a set of mats for a great price and they work perfectly for what I needed so I'm happy with my purchase.

Works great
I wanted something to protect our vanity top when I was using my curling iron and it works great. I can also immediately put away my iron instead of waiting for it to cool down. It was cheap, but serves the purpose wonderfully!

Excellent for travel, daily use, and storage
These are amazing for daily use, travel, and storage! It gives you a safe place to lay your tool while using it, gives it a place to be stored and keep it neat, and lets you be able to put it away quickly after using it for travel.

Great
It is compact doesn’t add bulk and keeps the iron from burning things around it. Great for a mat on the sink and as a cover to stow and go

Good value
I haven’t ever used a product like these, so I can’t compare to others. But I can slightly feel the heat when my hot curling iron is in it after using it. So I wait a few minutes if I’m needing to pack it for travel. It’s good for protecting the counter top.

Awesome!
These are wonderful on a daily basis but especially when traveling. You can put a hot hair tool in them, close your suitcase and hit the road.
