Also, pretty well painted in what I think is a matt black powder coating.The handle was exactly as I expected from looking at the information on Amazon.Being made from iron I expect it will be terrifically strong, but then they only give you one little screw hole at each end. If subject to great force, no doubt the screws will be the weakest kink. The handle itself is bomb-proof!

I bought this to attach to the door trim leading into the house from our 4 season room. There's 2 steps up into the house. My husband walks with a cane and has a hard time walking up steps. We didn't really want to put a railing up, so this was a good option. He just grabs the handle when he's going up the steps and it makes it easy for him to get up them.It's very sturdy and looks rustic, which fits the decor of our room perfectly. It comes with two heavy duty screws so it feels very secure.So much more affordable than a railing, plus it looks nicer and isn't really taking up any space.. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Very nice cast iron, heavy and textile to the touch, the exact thing I was looking for in one of my Airbnb bathrooms that had a sliding door.

I have not installed it yet because the door its going on has not arrived yet, but when I took it out of the box, I was amazed with the beautiful craftsmanship! The carvings in the center are so clean looking and add a lot of character to the handle. It's also very heavy which says to me it's not made of some cheap flimsy material. Very solid and sturdy, especially for the price! Will update this review once it has been installed.
