I’ve been using this mascara since the 80s so that speaks volumes!Inexpensive, makes lashes the longest and thickest they can ever be, separates, doesn’t dry them out, stays put all day without smudging and washes off one two three with any cleanser or soap. It really doesn’t get any better than L’Oréal Voluminous!

My all time favorite mascara! It lasts all day (plus more, for the nights I forget to wash it off) and doesn't run or smear.I have tried so many name brand mascaras ranging from $20-$100 and this drugstore brand takes the cake. The brush is full and luscious, no clumping and gives a beautiful glam lash effect. It's buildable too, so you can choose if you're wanting to have a more natural, subtle look or a more voluminous look.The product lasts a while. I try to buy a new one every 3 months just for freshness, but I'm sure 1 bottle could stretch a solid 6 months even with using it everyday.I would save your money on getting the high end mascaras and go for this instead! The price and quality are unbeatable.

It makes my lashes look longer and fuller without clumping, and it stays put all day—no smudging or flaking.The only downside is it takes a bit longer to dry, so I have to be careful right after applying. Also, it’s a little stubborn to remove at night.Still, totally worth it. It’s become part of my daily routine!

All the reviews I read were good. One review almost caused me not to purchase. I have been looking for this exact one. I purchased it maybe 4 years ago but couldn't remember since most of the letters erased. I haven't used it yet, but it is the same brand and mildly enhanced your appearance. Please purchase. I ordered another.

This is my very favorite brand. Always goes on great, makes your lashes look great. Doesn't dry out fast, very long lasting. This is a very good value for the money, I will always use this brand.

It gives good volume but takes FOREVER to dry down and gets clumpy so easily. Twenty minutes after applying if I touch my lashes sometimes it's still tacky or even leaves a black smudge (I'm talking just, like, barely a touch). It's not buildable. It gets clumpy after a few swipes. Three stars because it looks good some of the time. Maybe would be better for someone who has short lashes naturally, but since mine are long it just clumps them together.

I have been looking for a new mascara for quite sometime. I am very picky when it comes to the wand. This goes on smooth and not clumpy.

I tried every mascara recommended by NYT Wirecutter staff, some were 3-6Xs more expensive. None worked better than this L’Oréal Original Black Noir 15Xs Volume with straight wand. Save yourself $$$$, time & effort. This is the absolute best mascara. BTW, it is also most economical @ Amazon!!
