Goodman CAP050450440CT Replacement - 45 + 5 uf / Mfd 370 / 440 VAC AmRad Round Dual Universal Capacitor , Made in the U.S.A.

This Capacitor works on my 4 ton Goodman outdoor unit after installing I notice That my unit started better and The compressor stopped Rattling as much when shutting off! A 95% improvement over all ! The only difference is the new one has a CPT this is the common protection terminal connection that can be use ether with a strait connection to common or to there easy start hard start kit Tess 5 that can be connected in different applications. I bought The Kit 55 bucks <> I Will be Installing soon! It is suppose to protect the compressor. If it works! I may get a few more years out of my 11 year unit! A new unit is around $2800<>depends on sheer +install cost! $75 now may safe Thousands later. My old capacitor is 11 years old may I will be changing it every 5 years or so! if unit last! Time will tell!

I love the fact that I installed the item back into my A/C unit it worked and is still working. I received the item the Monday after the 4th of July. My A/C went out about 10pm. I live in Texas and it was really miserable until we got the part and the unit back on line. All is a little cooler in my part of Texas.Thank you much!!!!

said was a direct replacement for Goodman but was not different. I had to call an ac tech so he could advise which wires to use and prongs.

Fixed my Condenser unit and saved me hundreds
