No. it means without adapter, it can only used for the F type antenna socket. Thanks a lot for your question, we will change it to without adapter or with adapter, it is really confusing

No. You did nothing wrong. I think the reason it can't stay upright because the screw is loose. There is a screw on the junction part. You can tighten a little then it will not flop over.
