Great value for money and fits perfect. Lights are bright and can be dimmed. Ways assembly, and light weighted as well. Don’t need much effort to put them up, very sticky. Had the same ones up for 3 years before moving.

Put these lights up on my narrow boat, it looks so modern, much cheaper to run than standard lights, low wattage, only problem, some of the lights are changing from white to pink on the white setting.

Cannot flaw the product, but would be inclined to go for the higher-end models they offer. more features in the app, features that you would actually use. A hindrance I found with these is that a timer can be set for them to 'wake up' over a time period of your choosing, a GREAT feature, however, no function to turn them off gradually each night of their own accord. You must initiate the wind down feature each time, else they stay on forever (but you can set abrupt timers that switch it ON or OFF at certain times). These nicer features present in higher range models, but for what I paid for it (discounted, maybe amazon day or something), I cannot flaw them.

Our kids have had LED light strips in their bedrooms for years.Traditionally they’ve had very poor adhesion and the quality of lighting and use very poor.Usually bundled with a very cheap IR remote control.These Govee lights are definitely a cut above the standard ones.Firstly the adhesion is incredible. They are so sticky and hold fast to the wall or ceiling instantly giving you real confidence that they’ll stay put for years.Secondly, the light output and colours are brighter and more of the actual LEDs along the strip. They are dimmable, colour changing and other options too. Which leads onto the third thing that sets these apart from the other models.They come with an app for both iOS and android. Once installed and connected to Wi-Fi the lights will update. Yea, the LED strip will connect to the internet and update. Crazy.Once updated, maybe 5 minutes.The app is very well put together, here you can change the colour options, brightness and even scenes. You can set a bedtime routine where the lights will dim over a period of time until they switch off. A morning routine where they gradually switch on and brighten to any colour of your choice.They can react to music and sounds. The list is endless.Finally there is a physical push button built into the lights where you can physically switch them on and off.An absolute great purchase and brilliant price. £20 for 20 metres of light strip that will easily enable you to have lighting around the bedroom/living room or kitchen.

Bought these when they were on a hot deals offer. Not much cheaper than now.Fitted today.Very impressed. Easy to install. Read previously they don’t stick well. Not the case. Very good and they won’t fall down.App easy to do, the music sync is very good.Lights are bright and there are a range of colours.Very impressive product. Never had anything to compare them to but little girl loves them.I’d highly recommend these.Plenty of lights don’t worry about not having enough. 😂

Not had these for a year and there faulty already don't even use them that much very poor item 6 of the LEDs have changed colour when on white the 6 are yellow

This LED strip works well, but it's seen some design changes from the older models.Unlike the older ones, the cutting points are very infrequent - about one every 2ft, which means you can rarely cut the strip to the length you want. It's probably gonna be either too long or too short.Moreover, the width has been reduced from 10mm to 8mm. If you were planning to use any 3rd party connectors or splitters, they probably won't be compatible anymore. Govee does not sell their own official connectors either.I can only assume these changes were made for aesthetic reasons. They do look a bit sleeker now, but this has functional consequences which you may want to bear in mind.The app is still somewhat cumbersome to use. Devices often don't stay connected, and while you can make groups for multiple devices there doesn't seem to be a way to save profiles and colour schemes to quickly switch to, with you instead having to navigate to the group and change the colours manually every time.Finally, the power cable is too short to reach the floor when the strip is mounted around the ceiling, which is a pretty major oversight given how commonly people put them in such places. My workaround was to buy a one socket extension lead (1 metre) and stick it to my wall with adhesive strips, hiding it under a desk, so it would reach. Makes me wish Govee would sell an extension cable, if not make the included one longer.
