Brilliantly fun gift
This is a remarkably clever idea and fun gift. We elected to put a fancy bottle of wine in the cage for a grown-up recipient, but you could just as easily put a tin of hot chocolate or bottle of bath foam in for a teenage puzzle enthusiast (as long at they are no longer or wider than a bottle of wine). The kit comes with a set of "clues" you need to crack in order to decipher the pre-defined code for the padlock, so there isn't really the option to set your own code (unless you wanted to create your own puzzles and supply your own padlock). The padlock itself comes with a label on with the unlock combination stuck over the dials which you will need to remove before giving to your intended recipient. (We took a photo of the code to avoid any tantrums and disasters). The only fly in the ointment is the price of the product. At just over £23 at time of purchases, you've got to be certain that your intended recipient will love it (or you'll get your moneys worth if this is intended to be a torturous gift). Add a premium bottle of wine to the mix, and that's a very expensive present to fall flat!

Brilliant
Really pleased with this. Got it for my sons birthday. It arrived in less than 24 hrs. Well packaged.

Great present
I ordered both to give for Christmas I would say the packaging and padlock was so much better on the Lochkeye one. The padlock in sugarskull Hollow took a lot of fidling in the end I yanked hard and managed to get it open and working. Don’t forget once you have put your bottle in and locked it up to keep the card game out lol

Not worth the cost
Multiple things to make this a disappointing item.1 - Does not come with a bottle of wine or alcohol2 - There's no easy lock mechanism. The idea of this was to give it as a present and the person be able to solve the clues to get to the prize. But, unless we open everything, we can't do that.3 - The box packaging is slightly small and doesn't fully house the cageTLDR: The price is NOT worth it.

Wine game
Questions are more like 1% Club rather than general knowledge. Good fun

Dodgy Lock
The media could not be loaded. *Spoilers for Code* The escape room part was fun but even though the code is correct it would not unlock and became increasingly frustrating after putting mothers day presents inside which have now been locked away until we cut the lock off.Not really a gift i want to be giving with a broken lock but it is a good concept and had fun whilst trying to solve it.

Fun Concept, But Execution Needs Work
I really enjoyed the idea of this game. It's a clever twist to make solving puzzles while enjoying wine an interactive experience. However, there are a few design flaws that somewhat diminish the fun:First off, the way the bottle is locked in the cage. The code to unlock it is visible on the side of the lock, which defeats the whole purpose of the puzzle. It would be much more engaging if there were an alternative locking mechanism, perhaps something you could cover or a different style of lock where the solution isn't immediately apparent. Maybe a puzzle lock where you align pieces or something similar?Another point is the setup; you need to open the cage to put the wine bottle inside before you can start playing. This already gives you a glimpse of how the lock works, making the challenge less mysterious.Lastly, the price feels a bit steep for what you get - essentially, it's a thin metal cage and a deck of cards. For the cost, I was expecting perhaps a bit more in terms of quality or additional puzzles to solve. While I had fun with my family, and the concept is definitely unique, the execution could use some improvements. If these issues were addressed, it would definitely be a 5-star product.

Just what I needed
Just what I needed, son is big into puzzles and has a big birthday coming up so this present will suitably store a little liquid bubbly to celebrate the occasion.
