Compact, sturdy, suitable for multiple uses.
Great tool. Relatively small size makes it fine for detail sanding. I am sanding cedar between metal tube balusters about 5" on center on a 140' deck. The sanding attachments make this much quicker and easier. I have found that it is best to let the sanding attachments cool down after prolonged use before trying to pull the worn paper off. If not, the risk is pulling the velcro off the finger or triangular bases. One did pull off initially, and it worked fine after gluing the velcro back on the base with super glue.

Best tool purchase in years
I wish I knew what this tool was called years ago. I have had to cut out old wood floors against drywall and had to do it by hand with a hammer and chisel because I did not know this tool existed. I found out two months ago because I had to cut out window trim and the window people told me about it. I bought the kit because I figured I would try out the other attachments. The oscillating saw and Sander work better than I could have imagined. It made quick work of 14 windows all of which needed adjustment to the box so we could put up window trim. I am now looking for places to use this thing because it is quick, lighter than expected, and easy to swap attachments.I have other tools from DeWalt such as a handheld planer, air compressor, drills, hammer drills, hand saws, etc. This is my favorite and second most used. I do use the drill and hammer drill more, but they're not as much fun to use.Make sure the blade you're using is sharp because it makes cleaner cuts and it's much faster. For 14 windows I had to use three blades and five pieces of sandpaper to polish off the rough edges. The battery when it's new lasts a long time. I have three of these batteries and the newest one lasts five times longer than either of the other two. It's time to upgrade those two batteries.

Perfect tool
I love this tool, can’t compare to other brands, but I own too many Dewalt tools to change brands now. No complaints with this as it’s completed many tasks already.

Great product
Used it for cutting out dry wall and trim from a flooded basement. Worked fantastic even with it being wet. I do wish they all can with the 5mah battery though. Now need to get the one handed sawz all to go with it.
