Best shears and small brush cutters ever used.
The quality is immediately apparent, with a very sharp blade that cuts through bushes and small brush like butter. The power comes from a great, simple, and quality design that cuts no corners.Tabor’s loppers are also excellent, so I am extremely impressed thus far after using them for 20 hours intensively.Rarely am I effusive about a tool, but I appreciate quality when I see it in action.

The plastic cap of quality tool is broken in 3 months.
I purchased this shears on 3/19/24, and the plastic cap was broken in 3 months.I followed the contact information and tried to find a customer service on the manufacturer's website and email. However, there is no one responding which it says will respond in 24 hours.Although the shears are still working, I am worried about the tool's material quality and its customer service.6/25/24 Updated: I have received a respond from the seller on Amazon. They agree to give the refund for this defect item. Although I do want to have a replacement, they cannot proceed it because this product is out of the stock. I change my review to 4 star because I cannot use their contact information to find a customer service.7/30/24 Updated: Just give another try. Hopefully, this one meets the quality standard. And the one with the broken plastic cap which center nut becomes very easy to loose. I purchase a Stainless Steel Nylon Insert Nut from Lowes and screw it on top of the center nut. I hope it can stop the loosing problem.

Very useful!
I ordered these when another name brand was out of stock. I couldn't wait as I had shrubs that really needed pruning. I'm glad I ordered these. They seem well-made. I can't speak to durability as I just received them.

Does the Job
This is the second Tabor tool I've purchased. They are really well made (the other is a long-handled lopper). These are very sharp and with the longer handles you really get some leverage to cut bushes and other vegatation.

Shrub Eating Monster
Computer designed blades that make a joke out of shrubbery, with ergo-extended handles for when it comes to the really tough stuff? These are shrub eating monsters that cut through thickets like a hot knife through butter, as they give you back time lost by the use of inferior shears. I know because now that I have used these Tabor shears, when compared to my older, hardware pair, there simply is no way to sum them up, except to say it's like comparing a surgeon's scalpel to a dull pocket knife. The only time I extend the handles all the way out is when I come across a limb. Otherwise, I only extend them as far as needed to get the job done. It's simply faster this way. These Tabor shears are a quality tool that no shed should be without. As for my older, hardware pair? At best they could be described as a computer-generated compromise, where one size fits all. If you grasp them at the handle ends where they are marked for holding, it takes longer to get the job done: simply because it takes longer to travel further. When you add this up, when compared to a handle that you can hold at the ends because they're throw is adjustable, you get that time back in spades. These shears allow you to maximize your effort according to the toughness of the shrubbery you're attacking. And that's all that needs be said about that. So glad I bought them.
