For the price this set is great! (Exclaimer - I have not done the Lego McClaren F1) This was a blast to build and I geeked out about the detail the entire time. Functional motor, steering, and suspension. Very realistic and cool that you can choose different race teams. All peice were there and the instructions were easy to follow. Only negative are that the steering wheel is a actual wheel and not realistic.

So I will say the actual quality of the product is pretty fantastic! A couple of pieces were difficult to fit together, but no big deal. The directions are probably my only proper issue with the entire purchase. At times, it took me a while to figure out where some of the pieces were supposed to go. There are a couple of points, within the build, where pieces fit in a way that make it almost impossible to back-track if you made some sort of prior mistake. One last gripe, if you mess up with the stickers, the way they peel off causes the sticker to get this weird design, so just be careful of that if you want it to be perfect. Again, I am extremely happy with the final product and you can not beat the price. 100% worth it in my eyes. It is genuinely Lego Technic for half the price.

Wasnt holding my breath buying this before there were reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. Instructions not quite as good as a Lego set, some ambiguity but easy enough to follow or work out. So many spare parts that I was paranoid I missed something as you know what to expect in a Lego kit. A lot of the spares are for installing a motor in the last section of the manual. To the other reviewer with the strange part that is their version of the tool to remove, split pieces. Would recommend as it's a bargain and looks great

I was very skeptical when I purchased these. They seemed to good to be true and very inexpensive for the quality. I must admit I have been pleasantly surprised with these. I saw this exact model for around 100 dollars on other websites and ended up finding it on Ali epresss for around 45. I ordered from Amazon for the free shipping was not let down. At around 50 bucks this set is a great deal and I had a blast building them.

horrible. got two boxes with missing pieces. very upset with this order, NEVER AGAIN.

I am Lego and like that lover, but this toy is Very hard for assembly, instructions not clear!!! Still not assembly, Not Recommended. Wasting Time and Money.

Overall had a great time building this but only concern is not sure why I was left with so many left over parts and there is one part I have no clue where it goes or how it's used for this build I left a photo of the part in question. If anyone knows where it goes please let me know thank you

Really enjoyed the challenge, everything fit good all the pieces were there.Looks great when finished.

Had a lot of fun building this car. I highly recommend it. The item is true to the size shown in the product photos. All prices went together well although I did have to modify the rubber piece for the halo as it was too long on the ends. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase and recommend it to others. It took me just over 10 hours to assemble.
