I wanted a gothic cathedral-like vibe for my Whimsigoth inspired bedroom and this definitely delivered. Installation was very simple and took less than an hour. The important thing is to make sure the windows are very clean before starting and follow the instructions for spraying both the window and the static side of the film with soap and water, etc. I ordered a large enough piece that I just had to cut it in half and then trim off the excess after applying. I already had a utility knife and a squeegee on hand so I didn’t need to order any tools with it but it’s important to have those before you start. It’s very cloudy today but I’m excited to see how vibrant the colors are on a sunny day. The film still lets in plenty of light even though they are somewhat opaque.

I had a really hard time installing this, but it was mainly my fault. I trimmed the film over tile, which dulled my utility knife before I even started to install the trimmed piece on the window. That's my bad, I would recommend using a new blade for this project and being mindful of the surface you cut on. Once I changed to a sharp blade halfway through, it was sooo much easier.Other than that, I followed the instructions, I used a little spray bottle with soap and water to wet the window and film, and a credit card to squeegee everything out. It looks great, even with my crappy install job. I swear the bathroom looks brighter. I have very ugly yellow lighting, and it was gray and raining outside when I took these pics. Still very vibrant on a dull day, so I'm happy. You can definitely see the yellow tone of the lights more from outside, but I'm not upset about that.I will update this review if it doesn't hold up, but if it lasts my whole window is upgraded for $10 and I'm very happy with it.

Truly makes my windows look like stained glass! Super easy to apply. I used a spray bottle of water mixed with a drop of dish soap, and a smoothing tool I use for wallpaper projects! I love looking at it, but when the sun directly hits my window, it splashes color all around my room!

The product colors are great - just as seen on the product description. Really pretty. There is also a nice raised broken glass texture on one side that is interesting and I think this combination of things makes it difficult to see the imperfections in installation. It took 2 adults measuring, cutting and installing on a large glass barn door with 15 panels about 2HRs+ to complete. There is definitely a learning curve but once you get the hang of it - it gets much easier. It would be very quick to install on just one solid window. Once its cut - the installation of the film is pretty easy as it clings with the water and moves around easily - no bubbles. We found this pattern the only one that you could cut and match from multiple rolls. We used one roll per vertical row. WORD OF CAUTION - both sides have a plastic covering film. Be sure to peel off the correct side. We ruined two sheets by peeling off the top textured layer from the color instead of the backing. We used very sticky tape to remove the film backing as it is difficult to remove on the cut pieces. As for cutting -we didn't follow the instructions for cutting on the window - we measured and cut on a table and then installed the precut pieces. There is a gridline on the backing for cutting which is nice. You can definitely see through the film if a person is standing close enough to the window but it is somewhat obscured so it provides some privacy, but not complete privacy. Overall, a good product for the low cost.

Looks very very nice on the lower half of my warehouse windows. Gives them class.We will see how they hold up to the suns rays.

New apartment had a big window in the bedroom. I couldn’t hang drapes, the blinds were very basic and bland but I wanted some privacy. This stained glass film is so pretty.2 months later and it still brings me joy!

Very good quality. Easy to cut and install. I put it over the window on my door. You can still see images but no actual details. You can see the design inside the glass window which looks kinda cool at times. I recommend it.

The colors were weird when I put it up 9mo ago, but it was better than what I was replacing. Most of the blue and green have faded - or maybe thats why I didnt especially like it originally. No red, just a weird rust. When I tried to take pics they all looked better than what the cling actually looks like! This is a north facing window. I used the smaller 17.7 x 78, simple to hang, easy to cut. I got my moneys worth - time for something new.
