OOK535808 Picture Hangers, Art Hangers, Brass, Reusable Picture Hooks, 30lb (25 Set)

I needed to rehang a very large over 60 pound wall mirror after work was done in my home. I needed to purchase new picture hangers designed for this. These OOK by Hillman ReadyNail picture hangers are amazing. It is hard to hang heavy items. There is much measuring etc. But these are indeed prethreaded so when hanging these hangers the way they are constructed with the piece of cardboard keeping both pieces in place makes getting the hangers in a snap. I needed to try a couple of times before I got my mirror positioned exactly right. Again these go in so easily and remain permanently in place. I needed two to hang my mirror and it is not going to budge. Also when I looked at picture hangers at my local hardware store it was way more for one set than this set of 25. And the price for this OOK set is a true steal. Now I will forever have on hand the best picture hangers at the ready. Whatever hanging projects you have, especially of heavy items, I can't recommend these enough.

There are plenty of picture hangers on the market. What makes this the stand out design is the white wedge that holds the nail at the ideal angle to the wall. None better!

I include one of these on the back of all of my original oil paintings for my customers convenience. I also use them at home and in my art studio. Quality product improved from the original OOK hangers.

Simple idea; great improvement. These picture hangers seem sturdy enough but the best part is a small innovation that makes them particularly easy to use. If you've ever hit your thumb or dropped a nail while hanging a picture, you will appreciate the fact that the nail is attached to the hangers so you don't have to try to hold onto the nail while hammering it into the wall.

I collect art and have used these picture hangers for many years. It’s the only thing I use to hang my art. I have at least fifty works of art hanging on my walls using this hanger. I have never had a piece fall off the wall, even very heavy ones. It makes a small hole, and can be used in dry wall, plaster, or wood. Don’t know what I would use if these became unavailable.

Well I have to say this product saved the wall hanging that I just hired someone to hang. It is a very large piece and weighs between 40-60lbs. I used two of the 50lb hooks and it was secure on the wall. A few days later I come into my home to find the piece was hanging by one side. The hooks were still in the wall but the hardware that was attached to the piece, by Michaels stores, came out. So, the OOK picture hook saved the day...the wall piece was not damaged nor the new piece of furniture that was under the wall piece.This is a great product

These hangers get the job done with zero fanfare. They are of a good quality. Nothing to complain. Highly recommended if you're looking to hang relatively heavy items on the wall. I used two of these to hang heavy wooden decor items (over 30 pounds) and a couple of these on each side worked like a charm.

Simply the best and easiest in wall hanging - use these for plaster walls (which we have in our apartment) as well as dry wall. They leave a hole the side of the nail and they can hold 15 lbs each! (That is, most things you’ll ever want to hang on a wall, you can hang with these guys, of two of them).Even if you live in an apartment, you can consider asking your landlord to use them. Ours is totally ok with it as long as we sparkle and paint the holes afterwards.

We used the product for hanging all our paintings and pictures. Very easy and quick to install and the hooks do not leave any marks or damage the walls. Excellent product

I've been doing a lot of hanging recently. These work great and you get a whole lot of them for a very reasonable price. They hold the weight of the pictures well and they're super easy to install. However, if you need to hang pictures I suggest getting the 3M command strips. They hold pictures just as well and no holes to deal with later. Just my two cents while trying to save you some time.

These are so much easier to install in drywall then the plug and screw and all that junk. I used 2 of these to hold up a 35 lbs display cabinet and its been up 11 months now. They hold a lot of weight by themselves and are so easy to use

Not much to say, they worked well and everything is still hanging months later.

Overall it is good, but the price is little bit more than I expected.
