I have already assembled the Magic Cello and had no problems with this kit until the end. While the music box played, it would not turn the piano movement. Now I had to order another kit (no information about defective parts was listed in the instructions) and as usual Amazon was great about the return and shipping another kit. I tested this music box before starting from square 1 (most of the sub assemblies were already togeither and all the gears were waxed) and when I wound up the music movement the gears and keys moved so I was happy with the result. I just wish the Rokr would have a process to send a major part like this as it seems such a waste to return the kit for one part.

The media could not be loaded. I really enjoyed putting this together. First one I’ve done certainly won’t be my last. One tip I can offer is it comes with a small stick of wax that was hard to work with so I used a candle I had and it worked really well.

I purchased this for my god daughter so she would have something to do on Christmas. I was surprised how it turned out. It was beautiful and it played! She loved spending time creating it and seeing the finished product

I have not made this item yet as it is a Christmas present but did open it to inspect it and it looks good, is well packaged and the pieces have a quality look. I would review after the holidays.

I've done at least 50 ROKR puzzles. This one is challenging, but worth it. Be sure to check the gears every time you add a new piece. Still sometimes the gears stick. There's not enough wax so buy a candle. None of the pieces broke, the wood is thick, not like some thin, flimsy kits. Some pieces are very difficult to get together, it takes patience, perseverance, strong fingers and quite a few do-overs. It took me 16 hours over 2 weeks to complete.

Very well made kit and everything fits together precisely. It takes patience and care but if time is taken, then you will enjoy the quality of the kit.

Got this for my 17 year old to work on while he was on bed rest from an injury. He really enjoyed it and was able to follow instructions easy. These are good quality and the music box is so relaxing. This sits on my fireplace and is wound up daily. Cant wait to get the clock :)
