bought the Hygge Game for a family night, and it was exactly what I was hoping for—thoughtful, relaxing, and a great way to spark real conversations. The questions are open-ended and meaningful, covering everything from lighthearted memories to deeper reflections. It’s perfect for a cozy night in with a warm drink and good company.The quality of the cards and packaging is great too—simple, elegant, and very on-brand with the “hygge” vibe. Definitely not your typical party game, but that’s what makes it special. It encourages connection, not competition.Such a great value for the experience it creates. What varied and interesting questions in this set of cards! Great size to take on trips, stimulates interesting conversations and more questions, makes long car rides more fun. Use them when the electricity goes out, for something different and fun, and to learn more about the players. Nothing to learn, just read a question!

This is such a nice finish after a lovely meal with family. The questions are great conversation starters. For example, “Where is the best place you ever traveled?” Or, “What is your worst vacation story?” To the question, “What is the worst thing about getting old, my 101 yr old mother replied, “Not being able to hear properly”, which is true for her, but we got a good laugh out of it. The nice part about playing this game with her is that we could pass the card with the question to her so she could read it! I highly recommend this game. It is guaranteed to start some meaningful or silly conversations, as well as plenty of laughter!

I bought this for a long road trip with the family (wife, 14 year old son and 11 year old girl). Aside from a few wise ass responses from the 14 year old boy, it was fascinating to see him put the phone down and engage the rest of the family in deep conversation. After another road break, the entire family asked to continue playing. The game's cards really stick in your mind and the answers your family are what I forever will treasure. The questions are quite thought provoking and intriguing. The game isn't really a game but a conversation starter and provides very useful insight. Get to know what your children are really thinking about so you can more efficiently guide them through this fast journey of life.

We have “played” this several times now. We have played with people we know very well as well as folks we’re just beginning to know. It is always fun with lots of laughter. We also get a chance to know things about our friends that maybe wouldn’t come up in the natural course of conversation. We brought it along on a retreat with 3 other couples, and everyone enjoyed this time so much, they requested to play again before we departed.

The “game” is simple, just an oversized deck of cards, but don’t let its small size fool you. We live in a multi-gen house. 4 generations ages 22-92. We have played every night since we got game. I have heard stories I’ve never heard! It really makes you talk - dinner now takes an hour or more b/c we don’t want to stop playing. My aunt called to talk to my grandma (92) today and she was telling her about the new game and how much she loves it. It’s a winner and that’s just with our family. We look forward to playing with extended family and other guests.

I bought this to play with my husband on vacations. We have been together for a decade and we learned things about each other! It’s also fun to play with family and friends. It’s cozy and you talk and think about subjects that don’t come up in normal conversation.
