Easy to use and operate. Simple functions. GREAT sound. Small and compact, easy to move around if need to. Auto turn off is nice after 20 minutes of no activity. Remote is simple to use. I bought 2 of these now. One for the living room and 1 for the bedroom. Can blast the tunes if you feel the need to.

This semi-small unit is just what I wanted. Setup was easy and playing CD/Stereo Radio excellent. Nice wood finish and good speaker covers. Can highly recomment. Sound is excellent with head pohnes for uaing speakers.Easy to use.

I wanted a simple nice looking bookshelf unit that wouldn’t take up a lot of space. I live in a small condo that is limited on space and storage. This unit is impressive looking. But, the sound is what is more important than looks. The sound is not going to be the same in any way compared to a major sound system. Unfortunately, I can’t afford a fancy sound system or have the space. I can dream. The Panasonic works for me at this time. I would note that playing the unit at higher volumes does cause some distortion. I’m not an expert on sound systems, so can’t explain it much better than that. I specifically wanted a bass and treble adjustment feature and this unit has it. Again, at louder levels, the bass or treble is going to distort to some degree. You have to decide what is tolerable. I wasn’t sure what 80W would give me but I already had the neighbor pounding on my wall. Didn’t appreciate that especially since I have had to tolerate his TV over powering my TV for at least the past 4 years and never complained once about it. So, it can get loud. Great if you want to sing to your tunes. I have not tried out the FM. I’m most likely going to get a radio so I can move it to one room to another as I am working around the house. I would have liked more features on the unit. So, you have to decide what is most important. Obviously, this is going to work for some and not others. Price? I think the price is too high. I paid $216.49 including tax. Right now, you can get this unit for $161 and change. So, nearly $40 less. That’s quite a difference. Would have preferred paying $161 rather than $200. I’ve only had this unit for about a month maybe 6 weeks at most. So, kind of sucks they reduced the price after I purchased the item. Great for others though if you are pondering the purchase. I have not checked USB as I do not stream music and have not checked Bluetooth either. These two items, for me, are nice to have for the future if I decide to use them. So, this is primarily just a CD player review. Hope this helps. Would I purchase again. Yes, but not at the price I paid for it.

Excellent little powerhouse! Great sound, love that it has an Equalizer (that actually works!). Exceeded my expectations especially considering how reasonably priced it is.

Perfect for the money! I live in an apartment and wanted something for my bookshelf that was better looking and certainly better sounding than a boombox, but more price conscious and less involved than an AV set up. This hits the sweetspot of sound quality, build quality, and functionlity very nicely. The speakers sound robust - no tinny tweeters - and have nice little feet on the base so they stay put if you bump them accidently. Additionally, their output is tremendous! You can really dial in between volumes needed for soundtrack and metal. The volume knob has a very satisfying resistance to it, it doesn't feel cheap and flimsy, so delightful --- if you even get close enough to it to use the knob because it comes with a very nice remote. The remote also has built in feet and I just really appreciate the feel of it in the hand and the presence of of it - you wont misplace or drop it accidently. Does not come with batteries, which is fine, but be aware. The bluetooth function is easy to use and a delight to have. The drive is only good for a single cd at a time, but for the money and the tech age, expecting more from a shelf set up is where the buyer should be looking into AV/Surround products like Onkyo, Yokohama, etc. Im so enamored with it in the bedroom that I may lose my mind and buy one for the living room for the vine alone. If you're back and forthing over a different model, go with this one - the brand name recognition is what drove me but quality is what convinced me. Its a superb little set up for a small space. Cons? Maybe the power cord is a little short? But that's really neither here nor there.
