Thing works great, as someone who works on their own vehicles ( and everyone else you end up knowing lol) This impact saves so much time hand cranking and breaking torqued bolts and lugnuts. Great quality of tool and good value for the money . Milwaukee has unmatched durability and I love all my other milwaukees including the ratchets. Overall the impact is phenomenal and is pretty compact for what it is as I have gotten it to some crazy spots . The 4 different speed settings are great as well with a hand crank setting so it doesn't overtorque. On sale for $200 is a steal even for the tool only.

As a dealership mechanic, I was hesitant to join the electric 1/2" impact party, but I finally took the plunge with this absolute beast. Equipped with red forge batteries, I've been using it for a week now and the batteries are still going strong at about half life. This tool effortlessly removes Honda crank bolts with a regular 19mm impact, making my job much easier. Unlike my old Snapon air 1/2", I no longer need a weighted socket to tackle those bolts. I am highly impressed with its performance and would highly recommend it to fellow mechanics.

I bought this tool mainly for lug nut removal and I'm impressed with its impact, especially for its price. It's perfect for that job. However, when I tested it on a Duramax to loosen the harmonic balance pulley bolt, it fell short in power. Despite this drawback, I still consider it a solid product overall.

It's been working out very well for an impact driver. It's a little large in the hand and has some weight with the battery. I'm sure that's needed to get the great performance. Good LED lighting when in use. Able to stand upside down which makes it less likely to be knocked over.Very solid tool. Easy to switch from forward to reverse and to change the settings.
