SamsillTwo-Tone Padfolio, Resume Portfolio, Business Portfolio, with 8.5 x 11 Writing Pad, Gray & Black

All I wanted was a nice looking, thin, simple padfolio. No built-in calculator, no zippered pockets, no bulky internal organizers. Just something minimalistic with thin padding that won't take up a ton of room when all I need is a pad of paper and a way to keep it clean / dry.Luckily I found this little gem -- it's exactly what I wanted. Thin padding, so I don't feel like I'm carrying the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man around. Clean lines, so it doesn't stand out like a sore thumb. Just a few pockets.I'll update this review if things ever change, but right now I'm expecting to carry this thing for years and years to come.Oh, as other reviewers have pointed out, the elastic pen loop is sized to hold a thin pen (a  Fisher Space Pen  fits perfectly). Thicker ones, you can hang from the loop by their pocket clip -- if they're no thicker than something like a  Pilot G2 .

I went through a few portfolios and was happy but not. This one came along and it was just what I was looking for. It's slim, which is what I really wanted. Many portfolios out there are like brief cases! Something easy to take to meetings, or stash a few documents into. The inside is sparse, but that's what I want. I don't need to carry an iPad with me. It has a spot on the inside spine to slide a pen or pencil into as well. The inside main pocket for large documents is a bit tight, but I think over a little time it will loosen just right. Love the gray/black two-tone color. The only thing I wish it had was some sort of stamp, insignia, logo, or whatever type of mark on one or the other side. Sometimes I open the wrong side or upside down. I may just take a permanent marker and put a small mark somewhere on it. Otherwise if you are looking for a good looking slim-style portfolio, this may be the one for you.

I really like this thing! I got it so I'd have something sturdy to place my printed copies of my resume into for interviews. For some reason I assumed it didn't come with a notepad inside, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that it did! It has some nice little storage pockets and seems to be really well made. It's better than I expected so no complaints here!

I looked at dozens of folders like this looking for something that I can carry around every day at work. This looks great and it's is very good quality. I've had it for a couple months and have used it daily and it's held up like new. I even fold back the front cover to write in it and there are no creases or damage at all. I love it! Oh and the pockets inside are perfect!

I carry this thing everywhere, and it still looks the same as the day I bought it! The large pocket for papers is a little tight, but I guess it's better than papers falling out. The pen loops is usually what I have trouble with on these, but this one is large enough that a pen with a padded grip on it slides in and out nicely without being so loose that a smooth pen would fall out. Overall a great purchase!

Doesn't fold back unless you want to destroy the binding and make it look terrible. Also, the cover is so vinyl looking and feeling. Very poor quality at this price.

Great for holding just the paper pad and some documents. I recommend this product for minimal/light usage. **stitching is NOT high quality; will come undone if not careful**

This is a beautiful padfolio. I purchased the gray color, and it's simply elegant. The workmanship is excellent. The various pockets on the inside left are perfectly sized and very useful. The space for the lined writing pad on the inside right is perfect. Couldn't ask for anything more.
