I opened the package and once I hit the "mode" button it stuck in and never popped back out. Same with the "select" button. I wasn't even pressing hard. Retunred asap

This is a good little tape for usage inside the house for small distances. You can not use it outside because display is not bright enough and laser is also not able to counter sunlight. Back to Amazon it goes.

I have to say it's actually a nice digital measuring tape/laser. I feel the overall build quality feels good made out of Aluminum metal plus has magnetic back. The back and front LCD has a plastic casing which is sort of disappointing.I will say two areas I feel needs improvements. I feel the LCD Could be a bit brighter and or to allow adjustment of brightness and I wish it had a serviceable battery bay for future replacement if needed. Another thought is I wish it had a case or carry case to place it in to keep it safe when not in use.Though aside from that I feel it's a fantastic device much better then what other digital tape measure offer of this style most don't even include a laser of this kind and if it does it ends up costing more from a unknown brand but same style and functions. I see many similar ones of this kind on amazon.I'll surely be keeping this as I find good use for it.

This worked great for my housemates and me during some of our renovations to our new home. This made things so easy, especially for some of us that have a harder time reading small print on tape measures.
