Victorinox Knife Sharpener

As is the reputation of Victorinox, this knife sharpner is also par excellence. Easy to use and very handy for sharpening kitchen knives.

I have over 6 knife sharpeners I purchased after extensive research and this is the most handy and reliable knife sharpeners for me.. still in use after 7 years!

Product is ok and easy to use,but cost is very high

Ideal for sharpening knives with broader and thicker blades. Restores their original razor sharp edges. A 'Must have' for every domastic household, inspite of seemingly steeper price.

Easy to use , good product but too high price set for this as far as value of money is concerned .. did not need to dispose off old knives

Just 4 or 5 passes with a little pressure and the knife will as be better than new. Of course, how sharp a knife will get depends on the quality of metal. They'll get sharper than when they're new though.

UPDATE 27th Jan 2020 Ok, after 5 months of using this knife sharpener, I have to add the fact that, even though it works good to sharpen the Victorinox knife, it does that at the expense of shaving wayyyy too much metal than other sharpeners. I guess it's better to use this sparingly and use only the honing rod on a regular basis. Not happy :(Original review: Does its job as promised. One has to follow instructions carefully for sharpening the knife. If you don't follow them and be rough in sliding the knife through this, it will create metal shavings off of the knife. Just medium pressure on the blade and a few swipes as mentioned will do it.Packing was really poor. Also it should be priced less. Paying Rs.1887 for this is outrageous. Especially since it doesn't even sharpen the Victorinox knife to its new form, just makes it sharp, that's all.Hope this review is helpful.
