Good beginner microscope.
This was a gift for my grandson a few years ago. He was really happy with it when he received it. He looked at everything he could fit on the view plate, he used it all the time and had a lot of fun. He still has it on his dresser and it still works well, this is a few years later and he still uses it sometimes. He has never mentioned any problems with it. If your kids want a microscope this one would be a good one to get.

Great STEM choice for 6 yr old
Excellent choice for my great nephew's 6th birthday. The slides aren't glass so are durable for children. Several slides are prepared with familiar samples. Great family science experiences ahead

Great beginner's microscope
The Design reminds me of my first microscope, it is fun for kids and even adults to explore and learn. It is made of a durable metal frame, the weight attests to it being well made, and the light brightness allows you to see clearly, has a pamphlet with great ideas for use. I highly recommend

This was a great tool for our Summer Camp Science Class
This was a perfect tool for our summer camp science project . It was easy to use, it was not to heavy for the kids to handle. The magnification was great our kids could utilize for multiple tasks.
