I just got this, so haven't tried it on a plane yet, but so far I'm impressed with the build qualilty, it seems nice and sturdy. Coming with the allen key is very good, to set the ball joint tightness as I want.I wish there was a magnet on this, to mount to my phone since I already have a metal plate on my phone for this purpose, but the squeezy hold is fine. Folds up well and easy to use on a table. I tried to mount it on the back of a chair, to emulate grabbing an airline seat, and I think it should work well.

Great product. And, so handy!! We both found the flight 100% better when you can have your hands free. We loved how it rotated easily and clips or grips on the IPhone really well. We liked them so well, we bought more for family members. Even works on the kitchen cabinet so you can follow a recipe while you are cooking. Five-star on practical!

This is an awesome mount for an airplane trip or even a train. Because they both have trays or at your work desk. I even used the legs on it, which are kind of flimsy. I wish they would make them stronger and it would be cool if it extended up. So you couldUse it when it's attached to the trade table at a at a higher height also could be doubled as a selfie stick. It needs a screws to stop it from moving that keeps it from. Moving around when you have a heavy phone with a case or something to secure it. So it won't move when it's in a certain position. That's really the only thing wrong with it. Other than that, it's great.I bought this one because it had feet that came out.So you could stand it up on a desk on a vacation

Did it's job well, but can get a lighter one to do the job just as well.
