These lights look premium and work amazingly well. You can tell this is a high tech product. Everything about it is super cool. No flaws. I hope they last a long time. I got them on discount and I was nervous spending that much on something like this. But nope. It’s priced right. Expensive but you don’t feel cheated because it does deliver a premium experience. But hey if you have the right set up and you are looking at smart lights then you can probably afford them.

The items works as expected. Light sync works as advertised but the app functionality is clunky. The AI features are more a gimmick than a proper useful thing. Overall satisfied with the item

Was a bit apprehensive considering the price, but after having this for some time now absolutely love it.Dividing this into Pros and Quirks as I dont have any Cons myself to list currently.Pros:- Set up is very quick and simple everything is explained and packaged nicely - I do wish the cables for the side lamps could disconnect from each other only to allow better cable management as its having to go around some desk mounts and other things on my desk but manageable.- It's very responsive to whats on screen, although after playing some games I do wish it would colour match a bit better but it still gives off the ambient vibe which is what your after really.- Its HDMI only - but im using a DP to HDMI converter for my GFX and no issues on that front.- Its lovely and bright which is just what you want.Quirk:- LEDS for monitor - they're great LED strips however i noticed with my monitors 27" Samsung Curved its not the easiest to get them properly stuck smoothly. The curve means it drifts from the line you've started with and the cable for the corners is just a bit too thick for my liking as i cant get it to be nice and flat using the provided clips.- I have the App enabled for my league of legends set up - and this works great however i have noticed now and then it might just randomly start doing some of the effects like first blood / defeat / victory etc. while not playing the game. for example while watching YouTube videos (not LOL related) it might randomly do an effect before resettling back in.- In a dual monitor set up it does feel a little weird as its plugged into to 1 monitor only so my right side lights don't really get much attention because of my second screen being there / blocking the lightOverall im very happy I finally treated myself to it. I just hope that there will be more supported games with their own lighting effects eventually

To be honest, it's not about this product being great,which it is, but more about it being the ONLY product out there which works properly with a curved gaming monitor.Setup was a pain as it didn't work straight out of the box. Required a firmware upgrade which is a tad unusual to undertake. Not like an app button which just says "Check for new firmware". Once this was done it burst into action and worked great.Very good indeed.

I do rather like the idea of this item, but i think it wasn't executed well. While govee are great and they sorted me out straight away which shows its nothing on the brand, but there are things that need ironing out.Perhaps having automatic input switching would be good, but thats if it works at all!Overall though if yoy get one working i would recommend. Really delves immerse you as my friend has one and is why I wanted one.

Govee AI HDMI Lighting KitThis HDMI lighting kit mimics the average colour of you movies/TVs and Games.The box allows you to plug in 4 devices, i.e. firestick, xbox, pc etc. The lights are quick to setup, put the standing lights to the side of your tv and unroll the LED strip around the back of TV. These plug in to the control box using USB C. At this point you can power up and use immediately. There is a HDMI selector on the box.There is an app that allows greater control and configuration of the control box. This also confirms you have put the lights in the correct place, if not, no problem the app will reconfigure the lights so the box matches how you fitted them.I was concerned the app may struggle to connect as it want 2.4ghz wifi, but it found the device via Bluetooth without delay and configure the wifi itself.You can also use the lights without the TV, so you can set the mood of the room Christmas, Halloween… great for parties.I love home cinema and have wanted something like this for years.Really good, a bit pricey, but highly recommend
