I did not think it would be so great gift for my kids. It exceeded my expectations.

This works so easily even in a child's hand. You charge it, turn it on, and remote control it. It looks amazing and responds well to the control.

The media could not be loaded. Hands down, this is an awesome drone for beginners! I bought an "easy" drone for myself as an adult a few years ago and could not keep it from crashing, so it has been in the box for 5 years. This drone is MUCH easier to fly but has enough cool features to keep it really fun. Most drones are a circular shape, but this one being shaped like a plane is a major benefit because I can instantly tell which direction it is facing at a glance. It is also made out of foam, so it is less likely to break a window and also more likely to stay intact if it drops to the ground. The auto take-off and landing feature is a life saver, and it has "one touch" trick buttons for 360's and circling an object. One thing to remember with a drone in this price range: It will hover at a consistent altitude but it will NOT stay still... it will always be moving in one direction or another. I let my 10 year old fly it and he really surprised me - he handled it very well. (Note: Even though the item description says for 8-13, the manual explicitly says anyone under 14 is "forbidden" to operate it and those 14 and up need adult supervision.)The drone also has bright red and green lights that make it a real kick to fly at dusk or at night, as long as you have good clearance and stay away from the road.Here are the two major downsides and they may be a deal-breaker to some:1.) The battery doesn't last long at all and takes forever to charge. The listing says the battery will last 9 minutes and that seems about right. We were outside with it for about 15 minutes which some short breaks between flights. On top of this, the instructions state to let the battery cool down for 30 minutes before charging. And it took mine 2.5 hours to fully recharge, requiring a grand total of 3 hours between flights.2.) Even though the battery has a standard Micro-USB charging port, the manual makes it very clear that you cannot use your own Micro-USB Cable and must use the one supplied. I'm not sure why, but that's a real pain, especially if it gets lost.At this price point, if the plane came with 2 or 3 batteries then I would be ALL IN on this! But the short flight time and charging restrictions are a bummer. However, the flight time is clearly stated in the listing and it is an otherwise amazing drone - so I can't deduct more than 1 star. It does exactly what it says it will, and does it well.

Being a little too old to enter into RC interest, I found this plane to be extremely easy to learn to fly. Very enjoyable to pass time and for personal entertainment. Having a little difficulty with adjusting hover drift, but believe I will get it resolved in time. Recharge time on the batteries is pretty good.For a beginner, I would highly recommend this S152 model.This is a update: Lost control and drone flew off into adjacent field, thank goodness for one button landing. still try to find way to control drift while hovering, will work on it. oh yea, got stuck in tree branch. having great time anyways.

This little RC plane/drone is super fun and pretty easy to learn. Definitely go for the version with two batteries. You will want to keep flying past then battery limit of the first one. As is typical for a small drone, those little batteries can only hold so much charge. Love the design with the plane body on the drone platform. Much easier to learn and control than an RC plane or helicopter. AND if you are careful, you can fly it in the house! The camera is fun. Just keep in mind it is not meant to be a YouTube quality footage. It's pretty tough, withstanding some accidental run ins with door frames and walls. Definitely a worth the then purchase price!

The six axis gyro chip really does work to keep it stable. However, the writing on the box states that it only a 4 axis chip. Which one is it? Also, even with this chip it won't stay put in one position regardless of what you do. That's not too much of a big deal for me, as I rarely want it do do that, I'm flying. What would be a deal breaker is that it only comes with ONE 1200mAh 3.7V battery that only last about 9 minutes. Once that is spent, the fun is over! It take over and hour to recharge it, and the manual says (see pic) that it can ONLY be charged with the micro USB charger included. Really folks? I'm disappointed with Bezgar/ 4DRC. I've not been disappointed with the other 4DRC rc toys I've reviewed. They are usually in the upper grade when it comes to quality and accoutrements included. So... 9 minutes of flight time and then you wait over and hour to charge that one battery. Not good. This would be a 4 or 5 star rc plane/quadcopter if it came with a second battery like almost all other rc toys I've reviewed.----- re-review---As I stated, my impression of Bezgar/Deerc rc toys in the past has always been positive. I only really wanted a second battery so I could have more than 9-10 minutes of fly time with the quadcopter jet before the fun is over and I have to wait an hour for that one battery to recharge. Their customer service was top notch, as they got back to me, and sent me another quadcopter. I now have two batteries and have once again a positive review for Deerc/ Bezgar products. They have been around a while in this rc toy business, and stand by their products.
