I've already used one up!!
I love these notebooks - I have one for every class I'm in, and they're perfect. I use gel pens to take notes because I like the feel and look of them, and they don't bleed through to the other side whatsoever. They're great for notes (and my little doodles on the side).

Good quality for the price
The cover is more thick card stock than cardboard: softcover, not hardcover. Spine of the comb is between the cover and first page. Reasonably thick paper, no bleed-through with a Signo 307. Photo shows bright white printer paper on top (98 brightness) versus the notebook on bottom. Good value if you don't need hardcover.

Other side should be shiny.
Very nice laces, but-- why not shine on both sides. They would be a real hit if you added that.
