It’s a little on the expensive side but works well. If the buttons continue to work for years it’s worth the price.The operation is very good. Buttons feel good and are large.It comes with two mounting options that snap on to the back and a non-mount rubber back.With my bike I wasn’t able to use the Velcro strap mount and place it on my bars in a place that seemed natural. I already have a phone mount and a cup holder taking up real-estate.Instead I used 3M double sided rubber tape. This stuff is great. I used the hard mount with a flat bottom. My left switch housing is flat on the bottom. I was able to use that spot to stick the buttons.The location I chose works perfect. Almost as good as if it was a factory location. I can reach all the buttons with my thumb while still maintaining a grip. Also can reach them while holding the clutch lever.I’ve ridden about 200 miles with it in this position and it is just as solid as if it was mounted with a screw. The 3M tape is great. I did use some 50lb mono fishing line to tie a tether to it just Incase. But I know now it’s not necessary. Can’t see the line so good insurance for $100 gadget.I have a fearing with a 7” touch screen car stereo mounted inside. I stream all my music from my phone. My iPhone Xs has no trouble syncing with both my stereo and this device at the same time.I have full control with volume, track change, play/pause and even a button for Siri.

You do have to wake it up when you first connect by holding the volume up button down. Then the music is blaring after riding one or two presses and you’re good.

Will not work if your phone is connected to your vehicle via Apple Carplay. If you don't physically attach your phone to your car, it will work as described. Nothing in the listing tells you this before the purchase. I only found out by contacting support and being told if your phone is connected to Carplay you will have to use the head unit of the stereo to control the volume. I installed a new stereo in an older car that had no steering wheels controls. I thought I could use this to avoid having use the head unit. The fact that I still have to look away from the road to manipulate the head unit defeats the intended purpose. I really wanted this to work but ultimately it was returned.

This item controls the volume of your phone not the radio. So volume doesn't work on cd or aux or radio. It works great if you stream music from your phone or have music on your phone.

As usual Rockford fosgate pulls thru with a quality product. I had used this to pair the stereo on my lowrider ST and it worked perfect No more using the phone

Good product build. The only problem I encountered was of my own doing — to properly install, the component must NOT be clicked into the bracket, as the ‘hook’ portion of the Velcro is actuall under it. (Installation while the component is clicked in place results in loop-on-loop Velcro and won’t hold.)
