Used with competing brand
I bought the Maddox cooling system tester at Harbor Freight which does not come with a cap tester. This Stant adapter works fine for that purpose.

I lost my money. This cap is not for my Jeep model.Is to narrow in the base.

Metal radiator cap tester
Fits standard type of radiator cap. Symptoms of a bad radiator cap is if you hear bubbling sound after shutting off engine. This is made of metal and will last a long time.

Comes in handy
After two or three years, you need to check the coolant in your vehicle. Also wise to check the radiator cap or correct pressure. This tool comes in handy.

It didn’t work at all, it leaked. How can you test a radiator cap if the adapter leaks?
