Upgraded a work computer from 4gb, now the machine is running amazingly, ty!

My Lenovo laptop needed more oomph. The included 8GB(2 sticks of 4) was merely adequate. After searching for RAM all over the Interweb, I ran across this RAM from OLOy. Most people double their RAM. 2 sticks of 8, for 16GB would make it more powerful, but since my system can handle 2 sticks of 16 for 32GB? Yes, why not?So, I ordered and got it really fast, watched a few YouTube install RAM videos for my particular model and then removed the old RAM and put in the OLOy RAM. Tested it. That first time took a bit for the OS to recognize the new RAM but now, well, the Lenovo is much faster. Exactly what I needed. Thanks, OLOy for the solid performing RAM. If my network asks about RAM, I'll push them your way.

Ok. This FOR GAMING thing. It’s computer ram, it goes in my laptop. It’s literally almost identical to ever other Ram that is rated at this speed, voltage and latency.It was considerably cheaper that most other brands and was backed by what seems to be a better than standard warranty.If you have a system that is running slowly, give it a shot. If you have a newer system with one stick of ram, it’s worth the upgrade. If grandma doesn’t know how to close down chrome tabs and her computer is chugging like a steam locomotive, Do her a favor.Just remember it’s all about the same, just make sure your computer can handle it.

Not sure why but it only took me two years to get tired of slow load and operation of System and this was a solution. I have a DEll Inspirion and the information was easily available to match all the Specs I would need to do this upgrade. Dell has a great manual for opening system and how to access RAM slots.so after 20 minutes i was up and running.The Dell did give me a system message confirming RAM had been up graded.If you are using Windows you can type in the little search box " RAM " it will take you to task manager and show you how much ram and system performance of your current system.

Installed this into my kids laptops used for school. Really helped performance for the video conferencing and multiple apps used.

Performance is great and it's a massive upgrade over the factory 4GB.It did take a few tries to get the system to recognize both chips. Installing one 8 (top slot), then 8+4, then 8+8 seemed to work, which is strange but happened in three systems.
