Excellent tool!
We purchased this circular saw kit for our future son-in-law. This is our second purchase of the same kit, because we purchased one after seeing our handy man using one on a project. This tool is so handy to use because it's cordless and light weight! We knew we had to get one and have been using it ever since. You won't regret this purchase!

Truly a great tool
40 year + master carpenter says this has been a great little (emphasis on little) tool that has been added to my collection. Great concept for those small jobs, plus impressively powerful, probably do to the speed of the blade. Requires a gentle touch with good planning and thoughtfulness, just right for a meditative old foggy.Exceedingly pleased, thank you, Dewalt!

Small and Mighty
This saw is perfect for cutting thinner stock and for plywood and other sheet goods. I purchased additional saw blades to have a smoother cut. Very powerful with a long lasting battery,

Good bundle of goodies in Kit
This is the best 4 1/2 circular, cordless saw offered even close to this price range. Used it first time out, very fine saw, easy to use and handle, lots of adjustable(s)-depth and bevel angles, includes the battery and charger. Blade easy to install/change.My first all day job (custom cuts fence) was cutting some 2 x 4s (1 1/2") cut clear through easily when tool stays flush on material; 5/8" cedar fence pickets-no problem. Clean, accurate cuts. Light enough to do fairly good free hand if the work board is secured; I didn't always; obviously better with guide. Tool as or better than expected. Battery and charger working fine. No angle cuts yet; we'll see about cut depth.A bonus I didn't expect: they give you a very spacious DeWalt carry bag which can carry a lot more than just the saw. When cleaning up, and bushed from the job, I put a raft of small tools in there to carry in one trip to garage. The bag is really nice, heavy duty, strong supports, carry lots of other stuff.Very pleased, met or bettered my expectations. Quality build. What an energy and time saving change from corded tools.

Great Versatile Saw
My husband loves this saw. He uses it on all kinds of projects. No Cord to drag around :) Stores easily in its bag.

Great Saw
I just got this and used it for the first time. I like the ease of use and not having to deal with a cord. It was cutting thru the limber like butter. I would give it 5 stars but the wrench to attach the blade was missing. The box that it came in was taped shut as if it was opened by someone and they couldn’t get it closed.

Light and conveniently portable
This saw is great for taking to a job site when you don't want to haul cumbersome tools but need a saw. It cuts deep enough to cut 2x4's and has good power and an effective blade. Nice carry bag keeps charger, tool and battery together. Kit did not come with the advertised dust catcher, but Dewalt customer service sent that along with one call.
