This is a really good idea, but the construction leaves a lot to be desired. The laser assembly, on the right side of the grip, is held in place by a single spring and a piece of plastic molded to fit the laser. The problem is this isn't very sturdy.The laser, was not mounted in the proper position. In fact it points to the right of the grip instead of toward the left. Worse there's not enough wire going from battery to the laser to rotate it to the proper position. In short, no effort was made to actually align the laser in the grip. And the way the laser is held in place is subject to a lot of vibration.After getting the laser pointed properly vertically, I could not align it horizontally. Worse, it lost its alignment just sitting in the pistol.

Everything and I will get all that will fit all the other tools in my Strong room and safe

Does not work with ambidextrous thumb safety and laser button is not the greatest,works sometimes, mostly not because of not being able to get it in the right way.

Wrong grips did not work

This thing sucks is all i can say! You get what you pay for though. Extremely uncomfotable. The button to depress that activates the laze is nearly impossible to depress. When you do its almost impossible to keep it that way. Adjusting it ist easy either. Wouldnt recommend for any one who can afford better.

I really wanted this to work and tried everything. Being an engineer I was sure I could figure out how to adjust and purchased it anyway despite all the reviews. It just wasn't possible and aim point was laughably off (4 ft off at a range of only 15 ft). The price was too good to be true and it was a waste of time. Amazon took it back without issue thankfully.

Advertising as for compact 1911, but actually won't fit compact. Bet they work great on full size 1911, but I don't have one of those. Yet.
