I regularly use a limescale cleaner in my kettle, but I noticed that limescale started building up again pretty quickly after use. I decided to try the Chef Aid Stainless Steel Doughnut Descalers to help prevent this and prolong the time between cleanings. After using them for a while, they seem to be doing the job. They’re a cost-effective option and don't affect the taste of the water. They are small and bounce around when the kettle is boiling. It collects and de scales hard water debris. I take it out every few days and rinse it under the tap I then rinse out the bits in the bottom of the kettle. I still have some lime scale but my water is very hard, however this product is helping a lot.

Quite useful so long as you wash them under the tap and “massage” them to get rid if limescale. Not miraculous but help a bit in hard water areas
