I got tired of throwing away cat waste in the kitchen trash (where it stank up the whole house) or in the outside garbage (where it cooked in the sun and stank up the whole outside area). I got recommended the Genie so decided to try it out and it has been night and day. No more eau de poop throughout the house. I still use litter bags with this system and it's like the poops don't even exist with how little smell there is. 10/10 would put poop in again.

I was hesitant to get this based on some reviews but now I wish I had gotten it sooner! I have two cats and I was worried it would be too small - this is perfectly fine. One of my cats drops bombs so I kept having to go to the trash outside to throw it out which was getting inconvenient. I think I’ll test scented or odor blocking trash can bags instead of buying the refills. So we will see. Also if you find the genie doesn’t close all the way, make sure you remove the seal strip on the bag cartridge thing . But overall I would recommend- you can walk by and you don’t smell anything.

I love the litter genie! I have to have the litter box in my bedroom and I was so tired of the smells. I scoop the litter practically every night and I was tired of going through bags like crazy and having to take them to the outside trashcan. I started looking up ways to fix this and I seen that someone bought a litter genie and an air purifier to help. That's exactly what I did! The air purifier makes the smell practically undetectable and the litter genie prevents my laziness lol. And it saves me a little bit of money too because I usually use doggie poo bags to get rid of litter each night. There is absolutely NO gross smells coming from the litter genie itself. It holds alot of litter. The only thing I'd tell people buying this is be careful because the tray that holds the litter before going into the bottom is on an angle so make sure that the incoming litter is going to fit in the bottom when you pull the tray back. The genie was getting full and I didn't think about it and when I put the tray back in I smashed dirty litter into the back wall. It was gross so just be mindful, unlike how I was not the first time haha.

I don't write a lot of reviews. But i just have to let everyone know how much I like and appreciate this product. I clean the cat's litter box at least twice a day. The Genie has cut my trips to dispose of litter in half. It really works to cut down litter box smell down to practically none. It is very easy to use as well. it's a must have especially if you have multiple cats.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Is amazing for odor control. Simple and convenient to use. Only complaint is the money you’d need to spend on refilling the trash bags

I like the litter genie. So many of the comments and videos complained about it becoming messy, smelly, etc. Pro tip: scoop the poop into a dog poop bag, tie it off and then put the bag into the litter genie. This will help with the mess, help control the smell and help the litter genie bags last a little longer than without them. I get inexpensive scented poop bags.

I love this thing! It lasts for around 3 weeks with my one cat before it needs to be emptied. It contains the smell amazingly, although I'm not sure how much of that has to do with the litter. Anyway, I recommend this to everybody.

This may be one of the smartest inventions! I’ve been using the Litter Genie for many years and just bought this new one since we moved to a new apartment. They do get a bit worn after many years of use, and this new one is smoother when opening up the chute to drop in the debris. We use a clumping litter in our kitty’s box and this container will hold about 2-3 weeks worth of stuff before I have to empty it.It’s extremely easy to use this container and it really does keep any smells contained inside. If I could give this 6-stars I would! If you have a cat, you will love having this litter genie to hold everything you remove from the litter box.
