The item worked fine for recording a test call, which played back through the earphones. Unfortunately, when connected to my laptop (Windows 11) to retrieve the file for transcription, an error message kept popping up saying the file was defective and needed to be repaired. Then, the laptop crashed and had to restart.

Item works great. I could not get Amazon to ship one that does not record every call automatically, but their tech support, Sophia, was incredibly helpful and sent me the link to a WeChat app that can toggle it.

The product functionally works for my personal use as in the product description. However, the instructions are seriously lacking. If one has a bit of common sense, one can probably figure things out, like i did but it’s not exactly intuitive.Setting up the recorder to enable timestamping is awkward. I followed the instructions and created the TM.txt file with the correct time and date, but the timestamps still didn’t appear on the recording files. I couldn’t find any instructional videos beyond the basic unboxing, which wasn’t helpful for setup.I tried again to find the answer but the question is automatically answered by Amazon's AI and repeats the manual for no help. It also sends you to the company's service in China.Maybe the seller can point to more detailed instructions or videos.

After a few months the device refuses to stay mounted to Mac and Windows computer, it keeps unmounting and i’ve lost all of my recordings behind this and there is no support or reset to fix this. Waste of money, and a piece of garbage. Please try something else.

This product works well to record phone calls. Battery life is great. Ear buds are comfortable enough for long conversations. Ear bud design supports Airpod style silicon comfort fit tips. Battery life is great at hours of recording time per charge. Support audio formats allow for compress audio and compatibility. (MP3 supported). The sound quality isnt bad, however, it requires you to speak through the central device like a speakerphone. It does not offer noise cancellation, so if you buy plan to talk in a quiet environment with minimal background noise. For me, value for the money is definitely there; costing 50 percent less as most competitor brands. MP3 Playback quality is good enough to use for Dragon Naturally Speaking dictation (Nuance does not recommend this brand, but my testing it works well.) Size/capacity is great for hours of recording. Audio file transfer on Windows is as simple as plug-in and copy. No drivers or software required. Solid product. Could easily reach to top superior product status with noise cancellation and another recording mode other than speaker phone like recording.

Battery duration improves after several charge-discharge cycles. Connects quickly to iPhone using Bluetooth. Microphone has good sensitivity for live recordings. Phone recordings are clear with no distortion.I recommend this product.

The products does not seem to last as long as expected. I only get about 4 hours of use while listening to music. Using with an android pixel phone and while connected, it does not work with voice to text properly as it seems to disconnect but neither this Bluetooth device nor my phone picks up voice to continue the text message.When turned off and then charging, it turns back on when charging and connects to the phone. Withe the short charging cord, you cannot use while charging so have to turn off the Bluetooth on the phone so I can use the phone while this Bluetooth device charges.**** By default it will record all phone calls which is only stated in the PDF attach document and if you don't want this by default, to contact them before the unit ships. Would have been nice to know before ordering - could have been stated in the Amazon description. I found there is no way to stop the recording other than not using the device. Had a 30 minute call and when I moved the .wav file to my laptop, it would not play it. Not sure if it is an issue with longer calls or if it was just a glitch. Have not seen other devices like this one but went to this one because the apps will not work on this phone like it used to on my older LG G5.To the MFG:The recording button should be able to stop the recording when by default the unit is set up to record callsThe unit should work properly when doing voice to textThe unit should not turn on when chargingTo set the date and time is quirky and should be able to be set/updated when it connects to the phone like some cameras do

Junk! It worked (sort of) one time then froze up and would not power on/off or communicate with my phone's bluetooth. The initial setup/operation instructions were FAR from accurate or helpful (the buttons did not work as defined in the instructions).
