Crystal clear, super thin, perfect fit. Put this on my space black macbook and it's as if it's not even there. Can be "customized" by placing a photo under the top cover. This case was the right price, was packaged in a nice box instead of just shrink wrapped, and was super easy to install. It's like it's not even there - it's super thin. Not drop-proof but will keep the laptop from fingerprints, scratches a dings, and protect the corners against bumps, but probably not drops. Keyboard protector is clear, not rubbery and has a matte finish that feels nice to type on. There are no letters or numbers printed on it so there is nothing to wear off after long use. Love this case. Will definitely buy from this seller again.

Much better than expected

Have had this for years and loved it. I’m only writing a review now because I was going to change out my screen protector since there were a lot of bubbles and it was very dirty. When I went to pull the screen protector off, it pulled off my MacBook Pro screen which is now going to cost me almost $1k to repair.

When it comes to cases for your devices, whether it be your laptop, phone, tablet, etc., you pretty much get what to pay for. I was looking for a cheap option to protect my MacBook, and that's exactly what I got. It fit and looks nice, but I know it will not last years to come. I also wouldn't think it would protect it from much more than scratches and small dings.If you are looking for something to protect your laptop for a long time and in travel, this may not be the option for you. If you are just looking for something to protect it from everyday wear and tear, then this could work fine.I will say this, which likely is personal preference, I hate the keyboard cover. It feels weird when typing and I don't love the look of it. For many, I'm sure it would be fine, but I personally just leave that off.

For 14 dollars, this is pretty great. You get multiple different things, including the top and bottom case, as well as a keyboard protector and screen protector. I dont have bubbles on my screen, and I was able to get the bottom to fit snugly by paying a little bit more attention to how I was putting it on. The screen protector is probably something I am going to get rid of at some point (just makes you have to press on the keys a little harder and doesn't really fasten down on the keyboard, just kind of rests). But thats the cool thing about this. For a small amount of money you can decide if you don't want to use some of the parts.

I think the case will do the job of protecting my laptop but, it came gritty & dirty and had to be washed prior to installation. It is a clear case but, tiny scratches cover the entire case. I think I'll just decorate it with stickers to cover the blemishes. The cover for the keypad isn't too bad. It's hard to see the keys through plastic but, since I'm a fairly decent typist that doesn't matter to much. Overall I should have gone with a different product but, don't want the hassle of a return so will make it work. Price was right, but, you get what you pay for so I think a 3 star rating is adequate for product.

Got this on sale, just makes protecting and carrying this laptop around so much more pleasant!The factory Apple laptop has some of the most sharp edges/corners.
