I have several of those pop up style rechargeable lanterns. You know the type, you slide up the top, the light turns on. You slide it back together and the lantern turns off.Unfortunately the battery in one of mine died and these batteries fit the specs perfectly. I simply snipped the wire on the old one, leaving as much as I could attached to the lantern then snipped the black end off the new battery pack. Attach the wires to positive and negative, use a little heat shrink tube and you are good to go!My lantern is as good as new! I have an extra battery pack for when the next one goes out! I have used Kastar batteries previously and have always got a quality product so I didn't hesitate to purchase this two pack.

This isn't the first time I've replaced the batteries in my Uniden PowerMax 5.8 phones. They are old! But the running life of these batteries for the phones is the best I've seen. 30 minutes of continuous talking (negotiating phone trees and chatting with service providers) doesn't dent the the battery life indicator. The batteries' advertised rating of 1000 mAh (which is 10% higher than the batteries that were replaced) is nice but what I like is that they give me plenty of talk time.Delivery was quick, batteries were well packaged. I've only used for a bit more than a month so I can't attest to the longevity of the performance. Time will tell. I will update this review if I note any performance glitches.

Had one long call - battery won't recover. Gives low battery warning in ten seconds now.

Kastar must detail the connection information further. This connection is not what I needed/expected for my device. I look forward to being contacted by Kastar to correct this issue and send me the another battery set. I will be happy to updateUpdate: kastar rep called and sent replacement batteries that had still the wrong connection. Then they sent me another pair with appropriate connections (one battery was defective, so they replaced that one too). They kept trying to send me a valid pair of batteries until I was satisfied. I declare that now I am. Thanks Kastar!

They charge, but dont fit like the original, they are much smaller. Time will tell how well they work.

One never knows how good a rechargeable battery is until it has been used for a period of time. I just got this battery pack so I won't know that answer for a couple of years. What I can say is they installed and plugged into my phone with no problems and charged right up and work just fine.

I bought these to replace a rechargeable battery in a radio head phone. They will not last an hour. Normally other head phones will last 80 hours with just AAA batteries. This head phone would last 10 hours when new. Now with the new batteries they only last an hour. Save you money or send your money to me for saving you the headache of trying these for you. They will not work.

It's been two weeks since I installed these Kastar 1000mah batteries.These batteries are great replacements for my Uniden "Power Max 5.8 GHZ phones model TRU5885, with had the correct plug in configuration, even though they were "slightly" smaller than O.E.M.My displays are brighter than they've ever been!Happy camper.
