I want to start out by saying that these Hyper Go cars are so dang fun!We bought my son the HYPER GO H16BM for his 11th birthday a month ago. After driving his I decided I had to get myself one so I can bash with him in the evenings.I chose the buggy style car because I liked the look and the stance. My son's H16BM has wider tires and a head light which is cool. But I found the buggy's larger 2000 mah batteries (it includes 2) more appealing as I chose my car. I feel like the buggy handles a bit better than my son's H16BM. The steering seems more responsive especially at higher speeds. I didn't use the 100% power mode as the 70% was more than enough in dirt, sand, and loose gravel.I had a small issue with my rear shocks not fully extending/rebounding right out of the box. I reached out to the warranty team this morning at warranty@hyper4wd.com to see what they think about what my shocks were doing and they responded within 10 minutes with a few different solutions they could offer me. I did not expect this kind of customer support when buying this car. They offered me some options for how to address the issues I have with my shocks. I am about to respond to their email and select the solution that I think will work best for my car. I am confident we will get this issue with my shocks resolved.If you are in the market for a basher but aren't ready to spend $200-$300+ I would not hesitate to recommend Hyper Go. They have great product support, replacement parts are readily available on Amazon, and their durability is top notch. We have put my son's car through it's paces and it keeps going. My buddies all have Arrma and Traxxas cars, and I honestly can't see a huge difference between the Hyper Go and their cars as far as performance goes.I'll update this review once I get my replacement parts and get my car back up and going.

Car is stupid fast! Takes some getting used to that much power on takeoff, but is manageable for myself and my 15 year old son. Does not come with the 3 cell battery that allows it to go full speed, but it's probably better to practice at lower power. Battery life with the included batteries is sufficient. Chassis construction is solid, but I wouldn't run it into anything solid since there is nothing to protect the front wheels. The front end alignment needed serious adjustment right out of the box, but the process is simple. It is small, and very powerful. Use caution and have fun!

I'm from the Tamiya generation. Bought this for my son's bday and it would have blown any of my old RCs away. Brushless and 2c lipos work great and runtime is impressive. We've broken a few parts like shocks, but very easy to find replacement parts. To be fair, we bash this thing regularly, and that shock was broken jumping at a skatepark. Tip: duct tape completely on the inside of the shell makes it almost indestructible.

Giving four starts for one reason only. After two days of driving it an important screw fell out. Not one that comes with a spare so you are left having to order a kit to get a replacement. I tightened all visible screws once i got it out of the box. Learned that a while back when i first got in the hobby. But this one just disappeared and the rear end won’t function without it. Other than that small issue, the buggy is great. It handles well. It’s pretty fast for 2s. Harder to control on loose gravel so beware of that. Also with small gravel be careful not to get stuff stuck in the cooling fan. It’s honestly worth the money. I just wish with rc cars like this, they would include additional screws because that seems to be the biggest issue across the board in the hobby in my opinion.

The vehicle arrived as described and it works perfectly. I ran it with the sets of wheels and tires it came with, and then switched it the drift wheels and tires that come with the MJX rally car.It works awesome at the skatepark with the drift tires.The price is right on if now on the low side for what you get. It is the perfect all around basher for any age.

Trash. 1 star because that is the lowest allowed.It breaks under normal use. No jumping etc. So far my son has had to replace the main drive shaft gear (some sort of crap soft metal) and they front shock snapped where it mounts (cheap plastic). Today, the main structural mount for the front shocks stopped (hard plastic piece).Every part is $10-50 USD.I tried talking to customer service to order a part since it wasn’t listed in the manual (the main spur gear) and they were not helpful and just stopped responding. I even told them I would have to return it to Amazon without help and they still didn’t care.It is now past the return date so it is not able to be returned to Amazon.When it work, it’s is fun to drive (11 year old boy). It has only been working about 20% of the time owned (3 months) due to waiting for parts.I would NOT buy this again.

Absolutely excellent!!! It’s fast, comes with replacement parts for the harder to get stuff (diff and driveshafts), comes with good quality batteries that each last close to 30 mins. It is probably the best rc car you can get for the price! The only drawback I can complain about is the use of Philips screws instead of the hex hardware that has sort of become industry standard now-a-days but for the price I absolutely don’t mind it.

The car is very fast and powerful, but the parts are weak and of bad quality. One of the front shocks broke on the maiden run. For now, I ordered the replacements. If anything else breaks during normal use, I will return.
