Cocochoco Professional Pure Total Repair Brazilian Keratin Hair Treatment, 250 ml, CC_PURE250

My hair is grey/white and developed a bit of a wiry texture. I was worried that a keratin treatment might give my hair a yellowish tint but I’ve been using this for a year and it hasn’t affected my natural colour. I use the milder solution in the blue bottle.It has a lot of benefits: leaves your hair very soft, shiny and manageable like having a deep conditioning treatment. No frizz, even in humid weather. My hair takes about half as long to dry since using this. I’m not very good at blow drying but it comes out looking like a professional blow dry with no need to straighten afterwards. Results last about 2 or 3 months. I haven’t noticed any damage to my hair and since I never need to straighten it between treatments, it’s probably actually in better condition than it would be otherwise.Downsides: you need to have decent straighteners, gloves, bowl, tint brush and clips ready. “Use in a well ventilated area” is a bit of an understatement. If you can possibly do this outside do so, if not make sure you’re next to an open window because the fumes are horrendous. You need to wash and dry your hair and then apply the treatment, let it sit for 30mins and then do a really thorough blow dry and straightening without rinsing it out. All in it takes about 2 hours. If you use a lot of product the fumes are going to be difficult to deal with when you dry it. It helps if you use a fine tooth comb to comb out excess before you start drying it but even then the fumes are noticeable. It leaves a bit of a waxy texture after drying. For me the worst part of the process is waiting 72 hours to wash it out. During this time you can’t get your hair wet at all or tie it up which makes showering a challenge. I don’t like how my hair looks at this stage because it can seem greasy and looks too straight.However, it’s totally worth it for the amazing results.

I wish I bought this years ago !! Very easy application with no smell and has made my curly hair so much softer, less frizzy and easier to style curly and stays straight for longer when straightened.

That seems to be a really good alternative to super expensive salon keratin treatments. Quite easy to do and excellent results. My hair looks so much thicker and glossier

I have purchased the other keratin treatments by this brand. I found they did alter the blonde tone in my hair (dyed blonde). I have a good bit of grey at nape of neck that has a wirey texture. I also am trying to grow length and kept getting breakage, so a vicious cycle.Decided to try this for a change. Washed hair with normal shampoo, no conditioner and tried. Hard to do as hair frizzy without conditioner. Fully rough dried I applied the product. I used hands as easier, but you must wear gloves as does irritate finger tips for days after. Dried hair straight, ran straightener through to seal. Went to bed. Woke up hair wasn't messy, kept on for the day and following day washed, conditioned and dried. The brush glided through hair, it cut drying time in half! Smooth hair and split ends gone, like I had a trim. Didn't change blonde tone which was my big test.I can still style that it's not poker straight, which I wanted. It's just smooth, no fizz and healthy looking.The smell when applying does hurt eyes, but I knew this from previous treatments.Delighted I purchased, it tames and makes hair look healthy and easy to manage. I followed the instructions by making sure that my hair was thoroughly cleaned before applying this keratin treatment. I had previously had a nanoplasty treatment and needed to do a touch up on my roots. I have afro 4c hair. I found that this did help to make my hair smoother and a little more straight but it's only lasted for a month before my hair has started to revert back to how it was previously.It has helped with the curl definition of my hair, it's a little looser, but it has not stated this way for as long as I had hoped it would. It's not the new growth. It is the hair that I had applied this keratin treatment on that has reverted back to more or less how it was after a month. I haven't used shampoo or conditioner that contains sulphate as you can't use this with keratin or nanoplasty treated hair.

I love using this product. I normally use it once a year to smooth out my hair and calm the frizz, it works wonders on my hair and bit my drying time in half.
