Does the job.
I have a mortice deadlock on the outside cupboard storage door, but as I use this cupboard for food, house products, alcohol and other expensive items, I thought it was time to beef up the security. This deadlock dimple key configuration is a great addition to the security on this door. Is was fairly straightforward to install, although it did take me some time as I'd never installed this type before. I purchased the jig set to aline the holes and the drill bits. This made a great difference to the instalation as the room for error is fair if you're not used to installing locks.In all, this is a good product, very sturdy, well made and I would recommend this lock to anyone looking to improve their security.

Not going to win any awards for the deadbolt as it uses the same size/strength bolts as the star keyed internal locks available . But for a sturdy looking (from outside) lock with a quick to lock thumb turn internally - it does its job as a backup/fast locking secondary lock on a main door.

Good security
A very well made lock indeed.It’s come with easy to understand fitting instructions and a template for correct drilling of holes.Once fitted the lock works very smoothly and isn’t crunchy and cheap feeling which is a surprise as they weren’t a lot of money at all.This would be a great retro fit for multiple occupancy houses to keep individual rooms private.

Lock not working
The media could not be loaded. Didn’t like the fact this lock doesn’t work and the fact the other one was keyed alike. Will be sending back

Upside down
Lock works well and seems good quality, ISSUE - As highlighted in another review the lock is actually upside down with the latch mechanism showing as up but when installed this way the lock is actually upside down, otherwise a good strong nice looking lock, good value for money
