This is a good glycine supplement. It's 240 capsules, with 1000mg glycine per capsule. I take 3 capsules (3000mg) every night before bed to improve sleep quality, so this bottle will last me 80 days.The quality is good. I tasted the powder inside and it tastes slightly sweet (as genuine glycine does).Glycine is great for health, connective tissue, and sleep - and capsules are definitely the most convenient way to take glycine.Overall - great quality glycine supplement, and a huge bottle of it.

I'm shocked! The powder in these capsules has that typical sweet glycine taste and glassy-grained texture. I would have to guess that it's glycine. Oh happy day!I'm taking glycine to enhance the effect of two other supplements. One is n-acetyl cysteine because the studies that showed increased glutathione have paired it with glycine (another precursor). Another is magnesium biglycinate, which is a sleep aid, and seems to work better with extra glycine (as it was in my favorite sleep formula). Glycine is also a neurotransmitter and tends to have a relaxing effect. It's also a key building block of collagen.

None of my regular supplements contain glycine, so I tried this one out without altering anything. After a week of taking just one capsule per day (recommended dose is 1-3 per day), I've noticed a definitely easier time falling asleep each night. It's not as dramatic as melatonin or other sleep aids, but I was only taking one capsule to get a noticeable effect. I didn't notice any of the other proposed benefits (such as aiding digestion), but that could be chalked up to taking just one per day.

I had trouble getting these down, so that's a major drawback for those who have issues with swallowing large pills.

I usually take it in powder form because it is easy to take and tastes okay, but if you want it in a pill, this is a good choice.I like that this brand uses NSF-certified facilities, which is a great sign of quality. This is a little pricier than if you bought bulk powder, but a good option if you need it.

The product itself appears to be well made, with the capsules having uniform appearance, medium size, and are easy to swallow. All this being said, I added this to my daily regimen of supplements and hope the health benefits are realized upon my next checkup and daily routine.

Previously had used AjiPure pharmaceutical grade Gylcine, but wanted to try capsules with no fillers. This gylcine does not dissolve in water as well, is not as fine of a powder, and does not seem to be as effective on a gram to gram dosage.
