This 8 frame deep brood box is absolutely great. The size is perfect for my set up. I really like that it’s easy for me to paint and decorate. The price is a great value also. The materials are high quality and I feel like this will last for a long time. It was super easy to assemble and came with all the necessary hardware.

I’m not a professional but I’ve been building my own bee boxes for 55 years. My dad started keeping bees when I was a kid and he could barely afford to buy his equipment from the Sears catalogue. I volunteered to try and make the boxes because I loved wood working and needed a project for woodshop in junior high school. I’ve been making them ever since and I make the frames also.Back to the product at hand. I saw this and thought I’d give it a look since I don’t have to pay for it as an Amazon reviewer. I don’t really have time anyway to make a couple of replacement boxes I’ll need in the near future. I was pleasantly surprised at the good quality of wood and craftsmanship. I’m sure these are mass produced on a factory line but still, they are quality. I won’t need this for a while so I just slipped it together to test for the review. The dovetails are near perfect, except for one end of one board, and they slip together very snugly. One of the dovetails had a bit of a quality control issue and did not want to go together. I wasn’t going to force it because I’m sure it would break, most likely when I took it back apart. It looks like a little minor sanding will fix the issue.I like that the exterior is pre painted. I despise painting. I’m not sure about the window or how the bees will react to it. I’ve never had a window before but it looks to be made well. Sheetrock screws are supplied to assemble it with. I won’t be using those because they will rust. I’ll supply my own stainless-steel screws. To sum it up, this will work very well and at a price point of $39.99 it is worth it when you consider time and materials for making your own.

Solid and well-made! The wood is sturdy, and the design will keep my bees safe and comfortable. It was easy to set up and has a window to check on my bees. Can't wait to put a family of bees in it.

These boxes come with everything you need to assemble them, but doesn't come with the wooden frames or wax foundations, but everything else. It has a door in the front over a plexiglass window to check the health of the hive and is made of clear pine. This is a very nice box and is a good value purchase.

I was a little unsure from the description what I was going to receive. It is the box only, no frames. That is what I was hoping for, as I already have plenty of frames. The box itself is not assembled, as most are not when shipped. The 3 pieces fit together easily. While usually, a good whack or two with a rubber mallet will work for any pieces that don't want to go together, with this, I had to take a trim saw to one side to make the notch big enough to fit in place. Not a big deal, but not something I've had to do with the others. The paint is nice and even. The screws are provided. The wood itself was prone to cracking if you don't back the screws out and take it slow. Overall, it is just ok.

This brood box works pretty well with my father-in-law’s setup. He was able to get it installed and it fit perfectly in his system as well as allowing him to get rid of a pretty gross and damaged box.The only issue with this one is that the materials are not super sturdy. The walls of the box itself are fine, but the attchements and door fixture are pretty weak, making it dicey to do manny adjustments to it.He is glad to have it, but said he probably would be concerned a bit with the choice of auxiliary materials.

This is a good quality box that was easy to assemble. Everything fit together well. I’m winterized so I don’t have it up right now, but it’s a good add and a good value. Glad to have it available as I expand.

This brands boxes are very easy to assemble and they have very nice joinery plus fastening hardware once you put it togetherThey automatically square up nicely, which is a huge bonus and allows me to trust this brand every time I put their boxes togetherThe white paint is a little heavier than the majority of the other brand that were pre-paintedThe window is cute bonus for my grandkids never really on the right side to where you can see a lot of activity in my opinionThe super eight Bruder boxes because when I purchased some used equipment, it happened to have a top for the eight frame box and a bottom so why not put it all together and try a smaller one versus all my big ones because as I get older, I find that lifting Heavier, objects is not as fun as it used to beI highly recommend this company‘s products you’ll pay a little more for it because you’re getting a premium quality. The wood is very nice with very little not any knots and the fastening hardware is very good quality as well. These are all very important things if you want your hives to last.I had this product.
