The driver layout is a bit weird, they are firing out the sides. So you will want to listen with yourself facing the rear or front of the speaker. This makes for a wide soundstage and it does that pretty well. It gets loud, partially this has to do with the boosted midrange, it's almost painful. The bass is acceptable for this price range, it's just the mids over power it.Speaking of painful, the outdoor mode further boosts the mids making it sound ridiculous and non-musical. The music mode boosts the bass, I found it unusable for bass heavy tracks as it would heavily distort, so I kept it on TV mode as it reduces the bass.If you mostly listen to acoustics and voice / podcasts, this doesn't sound natural/accurate at all. If you listen to electronic music this might be okay for you.The DONOW Soundmore is my favorite $40 speaker, it sounds more natural for acoustics and voices while still sounding great for electronic music. It has vibrant RGB lights, way more so than the King Lucky.If you want to spend a little more for some richer bass, check out the Earfun U Boom for $50. It's a 360 degree speaker and it's tuned very well.

Been using this by the pool for about a month and it has been great! The sound is good. Lows are a bit muddy but not bad enough to not use it. Bass sounded great. Batter life has been terrific.Zero problems with thus speaker.

This speaker sounds very good.

The media could not be loaded. This thing is cool! As soon as I pulled it from the box I noticed it was heavy which tells me it has some decent components built in. It's still light enough to tote around and very small and easy to take with you wherever your going.Sound quality is good. It has clear highs and the mids and bass are solid in tone but it's not going to beat your chest like a guerilla. That's not what this speaker is for. This speaker gets LOUD! It's perfect for taking to the beach, or rocking a small party or going floating. It's super portable but you can hear it pretty far away when it's cranked up and there isn't distortion.Lights are cool and super fun. Haven't put the battery to the test yet but I had it on all night last night and it was still playing in the morning so it's solid at the minimum. Overall, a great buy for what it is!
