Awsome safty features pull trigger first then when ready press the safty switch to activate.

I have used band saws for years. I have never had to have both hands to use a saw and this one makes it impossible to cut items unless you hold both triggers. You have to press them in a specific order and it cuts off sometimes midway through the cut.

It’s a great tool, the safety switch is the only negative thing about it.

Saw is built very well, however the new dual safety switch is too sensitive and frustrating to use. Great saw but buy the one without the dual safety.

Junk. I love dewalt band saws but this particular model was designed by a safety man on a power trip. Don’t buy the dual switch bandsaw. Get the original

I purchased this version of the saw because I thought the dual trigger feature meant you could use either one, making it more versatile than previous versions. However, it requires you to squeeze both triggers at exactly the same time and hold both of them the entire time. This makes it far less versatile than if it still had the single trigger. If you happen to shift or move such that both are. Ot completely pressed, the saw stops immediately. I find this unnecessary and inconvenient.The flex volt system and the saw's speed, power, and accuracy of cuts are all positive aspects, though.

Two triggers and you cant even tape one up, have to hit them in order total trash
